We arrived at night without booking and unfortunately they had no room but the super friendly owner referred us to other rooms which turned out to be perfect. Since there was no wifi in the other rooms, we were invited back to casa do Adro to use the wifi whenever we wanted! the hotel areas are very sweet and traditional,... More

My wife and I felt fortunate to spend three nights at Casa do Adro. Next visit will be longer. The charming room and artistically furnished home were surpassed by the care and generosity of the proprietor and cheerfulness and professionalism of her staff. Be sure to request restaurant recommendations from the owner. This is the place to stay in Vila... More

Even though it is now 4 months since I stayed at Casa do Adro and I only stayed one night, my brief time here is still fresh in my mind: - The freshly squeezed orange juice and home made cake to great us on arrival. - Sitting out on the terrace after dark drinking tawny port. - Breakfast being ferried... We spent three days in this cozy hotel and it was great. You feel welcomed from the moment you arrive and you enjoy all the little details they offer you: five stars hotel breakfast, very comfortable bed, super clean home and rooms, home made cake every afternoon in your room, beers, fruit and nuts available, picnic the day you leave...... We arrived here from Lisbon Airport. It was our first stop on an off the beaten track holiday in Southern Portugal. The hotel is situated in a narrow street in the old part of town. It is quite difficult to find and parking is a bit of a nightmare. However, Idalia's hospitality is second to none. We were greeted with... More

I don't need to repeat the raving comments of my predecessors. it's all true! I just sum up: Cosy place with Grandma's tender loving care and 5-star service. Idália with her friendly and dedicated team are wonderful and make you feel at home. Breakfast on the terrace is an event, table bows under all the goodies served. Given the location... More

The best orange juice and breakfast in any B&B ever. A short walk to the swimming beach with almost warm water. Great restaurants right outside your door. The hosts make it like visiting your Portuguese Aunt's home. Beer and wine included which made it easy to enjoy their patio.

Kezzal has got it just right. Nearly !! It is the best guest house on the continent, not just Portugal No one will experience better. Ida'lia is unbelievable and her staff too. Breakfast on the upper terrace on ''steamer chairs and tables'' is a delight. Everything here is quality. Book well in advance.

This is an amazing place. Beautiful rooms, great location, fantastic breakfast, homemade cake and tea in your room every afternoon, and an open fridge with wine, beer, water and fruit. The owner makes it even better - good local advice on restaurants, driving us to the start of our walk and sending us on our way with fresh cake and... More

From the moment you walk in the door you know you will be taken care of. Señora greeted us warmly with a huge smile & freshly squeezed orange juice. Home-baked chocolate cake and tea were waiting for us in upstairs quarters freshly renovated and furnishings painted bright Portuguese azul blue. There are 5 rooms, most with shared deck. The upstairs... More
