I don't need to repeat the raving comments of my predecessors. it's all true! I just sum up: Cosy place with Grandma's tender loving care and 5-star service. Idália with her friendly and dedicated team are wonderful and make you feel at home. Breakfast on the terrace is an event, table bows under all the goodies served. Given the location... More

The best orange juice and breakfast in any B&B ever. A short walk to the swimming beach with almost warm water. Great restaurants right outside your door. The hosts make it like visiting your Portuguese Aunt's home. Beer and wine included which made it easy to enjoy their patio.

Kezzal has got it just right. Nearly !! It is the best guest house on the continent, not just Portugal No one will experience better. Ida'lia is unbelievable and her staff too. Breakfast on the upper terrace on ''steamer chairs and tables'' is a delight. Everything here is quality. Book well in advance.

This is an amazing place. Beautiful rooms, great location, fantastic breakfast, homemade cake and tea in your room every afternoon, and an open fridge with wine, beer, water and fruit. The owner makes it even better - good local advice on restaurants, driving us to the start of our walk and sending us on our way with fresh cake and... More

From the moment you walk in the door you know you will be taken care of. Señora greeted us warmly with a huge smile & freshly squeezed orange juice. Home-baked chocolate cake and tea were waiting for us in upstairs quarters freshly renovated and furnishings painted bright Portuguese azul blue. There are 5 rooms, most with shared deck. The upstairs... More

This place is great. Lovely guest house. The owners go above and beyond to look after you. The breakfasts are amazing, the 'tea' brought to your room in midafternoon with a big slice of cake is such a welcome, and the beer in the fridge is great too!

This is a bed and breakfast establishment and you are actually staying in Idalia's home - a very sweet house with about seven guest bedrooms, all nicely furnished and immaculately clean, communal areas, a lovely sunny terrace and a kitchen where you can help yourself to drinks, fresh fruit and nuts. The hospitality and generosity of Idalia is overwhelming -... More

Casa do Adro is more a home than a hotel. The rooms are nice but what really stands out is the kindness of the hosts: a really warm welcome, access to nice communal areas including the kitchen where you can find fresh fruits and beers in the fridge and the lovely cakes and freshly pressed orange juice in the room.... This hotel was recommended to me by Albergaria do Cavario in Evora. I arrived in the middle of a torrential downpour at about 7pm. I was greeted warmly by my host, Idalia who showed me to my room and gave me a small tour of the house. In my room, a piece of chocolate cake and a kettle of warm... More

What a wonderful place!! Never felt so much home (in a hotel). The hosts are so lovely, the rooms nice and clear, the terrace is great and all "little things" (e.g. coffee and cake in our room on arrival) make it a fabulous experience! Unbeatable: the breakfast!! The best point: You can enjoy it anytime! So we were totally happy... More
