This pub offers an interesting menu, which is a high gastro pub standard. The bar is mainly filled with tables and chairs. Real fires help to maintain a cosy atmosphere. Accommodation is also available. The staff are very helpful and the service is excellent. Very useful in the area.

I booked for 20 members of our family to meet up just after New Year. We came from all directions and I chose the Ivy House based on location (close to M25), easy parking, family friendly and recommendations on Trip Advisor. They did not disappoint. The food and service were excellent and we all had a lovely lunch. There was... More

A Lovely building and really warm setting. Food is both good quality and value. Couldn't fault the service and would definitely recommend. There is not an actual kids menu but they did provide a kids fish and chips when asked which was great.

I stayed her last week for work and found the pub to be a lovely little place secluded from everywhere. The decor was lovely the room was nice (albeit a bit small) and the shower was good the bed was comfy. The only issue I had was that they placed me in a room directly above a Christmas party. I... There were 3 of us eating and all enjoyed the excellent food from starters thru main courses, desserts and coffee. The service was good and we liked the atmosphere of the Ivy House which has been renovated very well. We went on a night when there was live jazz which we loved but not sure if this was a "one-off"... More

This lovely country pub has had a fabulous makeover by the new owners and it's not just the decor and friendly service that has greatly improved. I have eaten here s couple of times for both lunch and dinner but this Sunday tried their roast. I opted for the stuffed chicken Breast as did my husband. We both commented immediately... More

Please when reading reviews take into account that the current owners have only been here a year so anything before that is not relevant Stayed this weekend after stopping here for Sunday lunch on three previous occasions Nothing was too much trouble for Alfie or his staff whose sole purpose seemed to be our comfort and enjoyment Our room was... The room was small, but okay for one night. Good location - not far from Heathrow. Loved the exposed beams in the room - that special touch from a period property. We were able to access the room through an upper door so we did have to carry our luggage through the pub and up the stairs. We liked that.... More

We had a lovely time here on our wedding day. Alfie was very relaxed and accommodating, booking singers, a dj,a bouncy castle and letting us have prosecco at cost. The bbq was amazing and all the staff really friendly and helpful. I really didn't have to worry about any of it. The setting is beautiful and we didn't even notice... More

The room leaves a little to desire. Banged my head once or twice and I'm a short **** However, the service was exceptional. Dinner and breakfast great and the service was perfect. I even managed to buy a bottle of gin, break it, leave my wallet and they were still great. I will stay again and only wish I hadn't... More
