Just a short drive out of the busy city of Jodhpur this family owned and run Haveli, that is like a boutique resort is a nice retreat. It is set in immaculate garden grounds, complete with squirrels and peacocks, and a great swimming pool. The Lounge Bar is reminiscent of old "British India" with comfortable lounges and traditional decor. In... More

Despite having become accustomed to the rubbish and debris that lies about all over Indian streets, we were still surprised when our driver suddenly made a left turn and we were in the tranquility of the Rohet Garh hotel courtyard. Reception went smoothly and our rooms, up an incredibly steep staircase, were quirky and comfortable. Our deal included a Jeep-type... More

The hotel is in a glorious spot- the green a lovely contrast to the dry desert country. We had a lovely room overlooking the very pretty lake. Certainly a good spot for a travel respite . Staff ok but no initiative- had to ask for things all the time. Really cannot fault the beautiful surroundings - but the atmosphere seems... More

The hotel is another converted old mansion (haveli) / fort (garh) on the edge of a small village south of Jodhpur. We enjoyed a huge double room where a careless soul might get lost, and also hit their head! The hotel has relaxed character and charm, a large leafy garden courtyard where petite Indian palm squirrels chatter, where peacocks appear,... More

Stayed for 2 nights in September. Hotel situated in Rohet Village and is still the family home of members tracing their lineage to ancient times. Very nice welcome by staff who proved to be very professional. Rooms was upstairs towards the back with a beautiful view over a lake. Free roaming peacocks provided the perfect antidote to urban frenzy. Small... More

Halfway through our tour of Rajasthan, after visiting the city of Jodphur, my wife and I stayed at this most beautiful hotel. On arriving at the entrance, we were greeted by the doorman and led into reception. While we filled in the necessary paperwork, our baggage was taken up to our room, which we were told was the one Madonna... More

Though a very beautiful and culturally rich place, is extremely put down by its discourteous impolite and ignorant workforce. extremely expensive with absolutely no value for money . we thought it to be a great place for weekend get away but with poor hospitality it is a mere waste of very good heritage property. it also has very limited food... We only had one night here but would have happily stayed much longer. It is a beautiful place with a great sense of heritage. Wonderful old buildings but meticulously maintained with beautiful interior gardens. A large perfectly maintained swimming pool that matches the rest of the buildings perfectly. Our room was beautifully decorated and very luxurious and comfortable. Staff were... More
