Whilst this was not the best hotel that we stayed in during our tour it was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. What we particularly liked was that the hotel/fort was at the edge of a lively village and we felt safe wandering through it especially as we were 'adopted' by a young boy (about 10 years old) who... Very difficult to review this hotel as our stay was sensational. What a beautiful relaxed resort this is, a real haven of peace and tranquillity. Each year we stay in at least 20 different hotels around the world and Rohet Garh is up there with the best. It is an ancient Fort converted to a hotel and oozes old world... More

A one night stopover en route to Udaipur proved surprisingly different and comfortable. Tucked away in the streets of Rohet,we were met by the manager and shown the property and our charming suite, which proved to be very comfortable, impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. There are beautiful lounges where wifi connections are possible. The dining experience was satisfactory for a country retreat... More

Visited for two nights as part of a 2-week package booked from the UK - recommended by tour company. This is an old fort converted to a very nice rustic hotel property; Rohat however doesn't appear to have a lot to commend it apart from the hotel, its about 50 minutes-1 hours drive from Jodhpur so can act as a... It is a lovely old palace, the service is very good the Jeep ride we went on was very off road I suggest wearing sun glasses because of the dust. They have a stable of 20 horses and two dogs who are very friendly called tooty and tweety. The WiFi is very good in certain places as well. I enjoyed... More

The Rohet Garth is not among the luxury properties that I've reviewed in India, but it is an absolute must on your stay. It is a very charming property located in the center of a very friendly village south of Jodhpur. I wish I had more time to stay just to stay on the property and watch life go by.... More

Unfortunately did not stay in this oasis in a small town . Came from Jaipur for the day for lunch and safari. Both were good. Impressed by the peace of the hotel. We should have stayed and would recommend as a stopover point just before or after Jaipur.

its at marvellous Palace - old style with everything - massage, restaurant, live music, beautiful garden. Very nice crew, polite and helpfull. Nice town and you will have to visit the Bishop family, see the antilopes. Absolutely recommendable.

From a desert safari, to an Outstanding magician show in the courtyard after diner, this former Maharadhjah residence has lots to offer . The bar, the sitting room are grand and comfortable, the garden and its fountains are refreshing.normal indian food (take the safari and royal picnic option, with a hot lunch served under a tent on the lake side)...
