We only spent 1 night here and our group of 4 were the only guests. We were made feel like royalty. The tent was very spacious clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. The restaurant provided excellent food and service, we were even offered a cup of tea in bed! One of the waiters gave us the opportunity to visit... More

We just spent one night at this camp and despite other reviews, we were not disappointed. We were driving from Jaisalmer to Udaipur . We registered at the main hotel in town and were joined by another couple and taken on a jeep safari to the Bishnois villages and then the camp which we found delightful .The setting reminded us of... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The tent and restaurant are beautiful. Check in is done at Rohetgarh at which we arrived late morning with the plan to have lunch and then do the village safari. The general manager kindly offered us a room at Rohetgarh for day use. Unfortunately the pool at Rohetgarh looked slightly murky and was also uninviting... More

Not quite what it promised to be. What you see on the website is not what you get. The "Drinking hole where you can watch the game drinking at sunset", is actually a dried up dam. The ‘amazing view’ is actually staring at the faux Rajasthani Palace, Mihir Garh Hotel situated about 500 Meters away. The "luxury“ bathrooms are very... More

Reception for the Wilderness Camp is at Rohet Garh. Despite of having booked (and secured with a deposit) 6 months in advance and having re-confirmed 12 days before arrival via email and finally announced our arrival on the day, two hours before getting there, there was an attempt by the management to "upgrade" us to their "designer property" Mihir Garh... In a lot of people's minds 'tent' = basic. Just forget this notion as it applies here. These big individual tents are furnished in a fully equivalent fashion to a posh hotel room. Each as a large and well equipped bath that is built as a permanent structure seemlessly integrated into one side of the tent bedroom. Each of the... More

It was last year that my husband and I spent three days at this amazing property. It's hard to find such personalized service and an experience, which leaves you spoilt and spell-bound. We are very thankful to the lovely staff, especially a gentleman called Laduji (not sure if he's still there) for treating us like royalty and taking care of... More

We stayed two nights at Rohet Wilderness Camp, using it as a base to visit Jodhpur, a short distance away. Check-in was done at Rohet Garh, a heritage hotel at the center of the village. We were then driven at the edge of the Great Thar Desert to the "Camp", in fact six luxurious marquees, each equipped with comfortable hard... More

Rohet garb group consists of three hotels: one is the Rohet Garh heritage hotel in Rohet (with an average not circulating swimming pool in a very secluded thus hot area). Then there is the Wilderness Camp and there is Mihir Garh, both at 12 km distance into the countryside. Wilderness camp sounds brave! The name contains high expectations about wild... More

This was a highlight of our trip. The camp is more luxurious than most hotels, the staff are super-friendly and the peaceful setting make this a very romantic place to spend some time. We fell asleep gazing at stars and woke up next morning to the sound of doves. It was an unforgettable experience.
