Just stayed at the Melia for a week. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The beach is fantastic and you can walk for miles. There is a gentle breeze in the air, just enough to keep your cool. My husband and I wanted somewhere off the main track and we certainly got that. The rooms are clean... more

We had a lovely stay here from 13th to 20th May. In my opinion, the hotel is in a beautiful & secluded location. The gardens were in full bloom & were a real sight for sore eyes. To be honest the holiday was almost perfect. There were just a couple of downsides for me. Mealtimes were just too busy. There... more

I know the title sounds harsh, but it's based on a comparison of resorts and, in that comparison, Melia loses our business in favor of the other establishment. First of all, the hotel is situated in a beautiful spot. It has a very 'oasis' feel to it based on the contrasting greenery of the hotel and surrounding grounds with the... more

Not long since back from the Melia Gorriones, have to say the beach was superb so if you like long walks then you'll love it. We paid extra for " The Level" service which meant we got an executive room on the 9th floor, very nice but a west facing room would have been better. The Level meant you had... more

Stayed for three nights - this was my fourth visit to the hotel. The location is superb as it is 'out of town' and right by the best beach on the island. Reception was much more efficient than on previous visits; check-in was quick, they were very helpful in sorting out early breakfast on the day we left, they reserved... more

Just returned from 1 week stay at this hotel - fabulous! We have stayed in area before and knew that area and hotel are quite isolated, and were therefore looking for a enjoyable relaxing week in a hotel with good quality facilities. What we got was better than we expected. I can't understand some of the negative reviews I have... more

I stayed a week at the Melia Gorriones for a week of Windsurfing. This is a famous spot for that. The hotel is on a huge beautiful beach with no other hotels around, the area is a natural reserve. The hotel facilities are in good contition (tennis, gym, pool..) and the staff is really friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean,... more
