This is a very nice lodge with lots of organized activities and nice staff and lovely food. The stay is nothing for persons who are afraid of small animals such as frogs and bugs ( no malaria mosquito though) . Standard is always relative but given the jungle surroundings it is surely considered luxury (although not hot water in the... More

Start of the tour (pick up) was a bit shaky simply because one of the drivers was trying to explain the meeting of the rivers to us but couldn’t speak English. Very pleasantly surprised upon arrival at the lodge, rooms were very spacious and the shower was amazing after a humid day out in the rainforest. The hammock on the... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel in July 2014. Unfortunately we didn't get what we payed for (a lot). The first night we couldn't get to the hotel because we arrived to late at Manaus airport. They couldn't get us to the hotel they said because of this. However on their booking.com-site it says that it is possible if... More

Dear Guest, I am really sorry for that. The problem with your booking was that we didn't receive it in advance, only some few days prior to your arrival. So when we received it, we noticed that your flight was arriving too late in Manaus (after 01:30 pm) to go to the lodge in the same day: we care with... More

My family and I came here wanting to explore the amazon but we really didn't end up seeing that much. Our tour guide, Matus, was nice and also Amaszonian but seemed a little quiet. water- my entire family was sick for a week after leaving. I think it was because of the water. They told us to only shower with... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. Our water that comes from the faucets are cleaned with chlorine. But we also offer bottles of water in the room and also during the excursions. Regarding some of the pipes, during your stay we were changing them for maintainance, so it was only water that was going to the river. We have... More

Firstly, the positive aspects: we very much liked the village and how it is built into the jungle, we liked our appartment, the bed and the bathroom was very comfortable considering being in the jungle. We also appreciated very much the friendly staff particularly noting Katia and the guy behind the bar of whom I don't know the name of.... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review about us. Most of our activities are during the day, but we are developing some more night activities. This year we began to do night walks, which most of the tourists are enjoying a lot. A nice excursion that we offer at night is an overnight in the jungle, which is a very... More

Once in a life time experience ! Unexpected, untamed intersection with the jungle & it's inhabitants during the flooded season. Mosquitos are light in this humid acidic river lodge. However, we still brought, hung nets Ovr our bed just incase, glad we did because you can see through gaps in the floor slats. FOURSEASONS' service, personable & professionally attentive. Watch the... This was probably one of the most spectacular trips ever. The Juma Lodge is really beautiful, the hammocks make it cozy and the wildlife special. We could feed a parrot and monkeys. We saw pink dolphins and sloths. The guide and his driver were super nice, found almost every animal for us and made a lot of fun. The food is... More

All information on their web site accurately described the lodge and services. My expectations were exceeded. The staff was excellent. Everyone provided a high level of customer service. Food was great! Group guide Enrique Sanchez and guide boat driver, Jonilson, were the best!! Did the 3 day/4 night package. Was there during the World Cup. A TV was set up... More

I visited Juma on 5 June this year for 3 nights. Having confirmed my arrival times I was picked up at Manaus airport and transported by van to the dock, then boat, crossing the meeting of the rivers, followed by another drive and a final boat ride. Traveling to and from the lodge is an integral part of the experience.... More

The trip to the hotel passes by the meeting of the waters which was a great letdown and nothing out of the ordinary. After a van trip you take another boat to the hotel. Some beautiful photo shots on the way with coloured trees reflexions in the water and shimering light.Accomodationnis in huts on stilts with electricity fan and cold... More
