We spent 4 nights at the lodge and had a great time. The water in the river was very high but it added to the experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our guide, Nilson, was fantastic. We had great day and night activities and just learned a tremendous amount about the Amazon jungle. The food was very well... More

IT was the "once in a lifetime" trips that should be on everyone's Bucket List. The lodge and staff were awesome and especially Enrique, our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My wife and I with our two daughters ages 9 and 12, had the trip of our lifetime. I could not pry my daughters away from feeding the... More

I went with three friends a couple of weeks ago and am very glad we did. The whole experience is great fun. Like almost everybody else who's written here, we had Leon as our guide and he's the unofficial Mayor of Juma. He's great, and his smile and energy are contagious. I was surprised to find that the best part... More

Juma is a very special place. It is located close enough to Manaus to be painlessly accessible, and far enough so one can enjoy unspoiled Amazonian nature. The lodge is run very efficiently. Transportation to-and-from is well organized and punctual. Do not have too high expectations about food - it is impossible to have gourmet meals in this remote location... More

Hello Lenny, Thank you for your good review about us! I would like to clarify that the jungle night activity is included only in the packages with four nights or more (Tucano, Uirapuru and Selva Packages). Because you chose the three night package (Mutum Package), this activity was charged separetely. Best Regards, Caio Fonseca More

Spent 3 days at Juma. Under renovation, so almost no one is there. Still, plenty of staff to cater to needs. Food is great. Others have mentioned how great Leon is as a guide. He also cooks. Bananas in honey and maple (or sugar cane) was the best dessert I've ever eaten (and I love my wife's pies). No wifi.... More

If you are looking for something special, a connection with nature, to be far from everyone and unreachable, this is the place! It is quite expensive, but when you get there you understand why. First you need cars, and boat to reach the jumy lodge, to be at the middle of mother nature but still get some knd of confort,... More

Words can not describe and give our experience justice. This place is just simply awesome and we have stayed in some amazing places all over the world. All the staff were friendly and happy, kind and attentive. We met the owner who is a beautiful wonderful lady and an awesome boat driver. The staff were always friendly happy and kind.... More

The Juma Lodge is a relaxing and beautiful lodge in the Amazon. Surrounded by nature, its a great setting on stilts. Very picturesque. The lodge provides all the meals which was delicious and sourced from the surroundings. Really helpful and friendly staff. The Hikes and Boat Rides were spectacular. My Favourites were the -night hike, the boat rides and the... More

A lot of lodges are in similar areas. This lodge has human settlement close by, as do many of the other lodges. However, you re still in a good location to see and feel nature. The staff was helpful, guides were good, and I enjoyed my stay. In reality, I didn't see so much extraordinary wildlife, but you can easily... More

This is an incredible, picturesque, relaxing yet action packed Amazon trip. The transfer takes a couple of hours from Manaus - pick up was from the hotel, then it is a boat ride on to another little bus then another boat to the Juma lodge - you see the meeting of the rivers and there is so much to take...
