We have visited this Inn and restaurant on many occasions and always found the staff friendly and helpful. The food is cooked to perfection and the service is excellent, we cannot fault it. My husband had his 80th birthday there and what a wonderful time we all had. Some of our relations stayed overnight and told us the breakfast was... More

Fantastic Easter Sunday Lunch, meal was beautiful best beef I've tasted for a long time. Excellent value for money. One criticism need to employ more staff during busy times, staff work so hard but they can't do everything.

Dropped in here for lunch. Food was excellent, a good choice and 3 courses for under £8! I have since visited twice more with equally impressive results. There are also cask ales at a reasonable price. The best pub in the area for food

Called at this quaint pub, earlier this week and selected the Early Bird menu which was priced at £7.95 each. I ordered a thai curry and my partner had fish and chips. Portions are large and presented attractively. His fish was quite nice but my curry was a bit disappointing. The chicken tasted rubbery as if it had been boiled,... More

We stopped here for dinnner on the way back from a day out. The food was lovely home cooked food. The portion sizes were huge and tasty, so huge we couldn't fit in dessert. The staff were very friendly and service was good. I would recommend this for a nice pub meal to anyone. There is also an early bird... More

However I have been hearing a lot of very good reports and was unaware until todays visit that it was the Daily Post North Wales pub of the year 2014 and very deservedly so. So I took a gamble and booked father's day lunch... More
