The place looked idyllic when we arrived there. Our room was located at the back side of the building which is overlooking the mangroves and the sea. From afar, the beach looked inviting. But when my husband and I went swimming, we found out that there were a lot of sharp rocks, tall sea plants, an anchor (very dangerous) in... More

This was my 3rd trip to Villa Igang, April 2014. I love swimming and enjoyed their private swimming coves on previous visits. Now they have "Swimming Forbidden" Signs everywhere. I can deal with the red ants, dirty rooms, and other complaints but with no swimming, forget about it. There is nothing else to do but listen to drunk people doing... More

At first glance, it looked like a perfect place. Once we settled into our room, we found the washroom flooded with water which they took care of right away. Shortly after the power went down for 3 whole hours, since there was no cable or satellite it didn't much matter because we spent most of that time outside swimming anyway.... More

We chose this resort for the view which was very pretty but we would never stay here again. The prices were higher than the the other comparable local resorts and the food didn't taste like it was fresh. We had a room directly over the water and it was infested with red ants. They got in our bags and bed.

Stayed here in September 2012 and while we were at dinner in the resort cantina, our room was broken into (which is VERY EASY based on the terrible design) and our laptops, cameras, phones, wallet, purse -- nearly everything -- was stolen. We were the only guests at the resort and there was no one present but resort staff; the... More

This is my first time visiting Guimaras. The resort is far from the main high way. You pay an entrance fee once you arrive in the resort. But as per management, the entrance fee will help to maintain the sanctuaries that was been developed in the resort. As we entered, I saw the butterfly garden, the mangroves and etc. Actually... I come here every year (except last year because I was pregnant) and I recommend this place for everyone. It is best to remove all luxurious destination cliche on this place. I think this place is a great place for the beach lovers who doesn't want the crowded beach like Raymen and Boracay. Before you come here it is best... More

My family had a very bad experience with this resort….. My family decided to have a vacation and choose this place…it turned out to be a bad choice. We are 28 persons including senior citizens, infants and toddlers. From the far entrance of the resort (which is about 500 meters rough road) we were told to walk in order to... More

Yes, it is expensive but it is so worth it. Villa Igang is a best place for adventure. People who didn't appreciate it that much probably never tried and explore the place. I guess it is still being develop that's why it "looked" old or not maintained. Don't just sit there by the beach & drink, go by the caves,... More

I would highly recommend the place for a day trip. I life everything about this place except our room. There were cockroaches in it and the toilet is not clean with no hot shower. Some of the stuffs in the room has a funny smell. Outside the room everything was good. The staff were very helpful. The place was nice... More
