Nature and structure fight for its bit of space on this hillock. The view of Lawi Bay from the restaurant is the most dramatic backdrop for a sundowner off the beach (yes, its possible in beach-y Guimaras). A few crumbling cabanas feel more natural than spooky. Crickets usher in the night's watch while a cacophony of bird songs herald the... More

If you want a resort and a room which is away from all the bustle and distractions then this resort is the perfect for anybody specially for couples. The rooms are more of a rustic type so don't expect 5-star conveniences. There is a swimming pool and hardly anyone is using it. The bad part of the resort and of... More

We had a very relaxing 2 night stay at Valley Verde. The resort is in the mountains, set in beautiful gardens with wonderful views down to the bay. The sisters who own and run the resort are very welcoming and friendly, we felt very well looked after! They organised a tricycle to take us out on a day trip to... More

If you like to have a purely relaxing experience while in Guimaras, considering staying here. It is away from the beach and it situated on a hill overlooking Lawi Bay. I've stayed here for a couple of nights during my 3-day trip in Guimaras. PROS: - Service: The staff will treat you like family (it is a family-run business) -... More

We went to Guimaras with no reserved accommodation. Fortunately, there were still vacant rooms in Valle Verde so we stayed there for the night after our day tour of Guimaras (Alubijod beach resorts were full). The mountain resort was far from the beach but it was okay since there were a lot of people at the beach. Pool water was... More

We loved the atmosphere of this place. It's not particularly beautiful or anything, but it just felt good to be there. Pros : - VERY charming staff, always there to give advices and arrange things - central location in the island - nice view on Lawi, especially at sunset - very good food in general, and amazing omelettes for breakfast... I couldn't believe the owners are so irresponsible to put in danger the health of their guest. The swimming pool has no circulating machine and not regularly cleaned. We experiencing itching as soon as we dipped into the water. In the morning we saw sponge like bubbles floating in the murky waters. Resort facilities esp the rooms is also poor...... More

Very nice place to stay. A bit remote, so in the middle of nature and really quiet. We loved it. The sunset on Lawi Bay is beautiful, which you can see from the reception. Cristie, one of the owners makes great chicken adobo. Food and drinks are really cheap over there. Breakfast is good. There's a nice swimmingpool in the... More
