We stayed here last year and found the whole experience exemplary. So this was our second stay and again the service, ambience and quality were faultless. We love the setting, the buildings are amazing, the rooms well appointed and comfortable, and a great location for exploring so many of the local towns & attractions. We could not recommend enough Domaine... More

What a wonderful place to stay. A warm welcome immediately upon arrival from Benjamin and comprehensive explanation of the hotel and its facilities. Great room with views of the lake and chateau, only minor criticism being bathroom a little small. Nice Spa facility and enjoyed an excellent massage. Lovely quirky stables bar for drinks followed by superb dinner in the... More

We booked this with Your Golf Travel and stayed in one of the cottages. Great value for money. Bedroom was a bit pokey. The golf course is good but not so difficult that you want to give up. The pool and grounds are great. There are lots of places locally to eat and shops in the village for provisions. You... More

We spent two days at Domain De La Bretesche and enjoyed seeing the New Year in. We stayed in one of the cottages which are, I recall, advertised as being about 200 metres from the main hotel well in fact it was only about 120 steps. The cottage was simply beautiful, there were four of us in two double rooms... More

We have been playing golf at La Bretesche since the 90's so have long gone past the "oh Wow!" state most visitors achieve upon first sight of Le Chateau and surroundings. To put this in perspective my other half has had a picture of this vista as her screen saver for many years - only relegated by the arrival of... More

We stayed three nights in this hotel and ate there each evening. The room, #17, was spacious, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable, with a great view of the adjacent chateau. The breakfasts were excellent, as were the dinners. The staff was very efficient and pleasant. The grounds are lovely, and there is a casual cafe for golfers which allows for... More

Spent a short Golf break at the cottages in September. The self catering cottage was very nice and well serviced. The 18 hole golf course is not difficult but challenging in places. Plenty of trees and water. The breakfast included in the price was taken at the golf clubhouse and consisted solely of french bread and croissants and a selection... More

This hotel was highly recommended by our friends that live nearby. It did not disappoint. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room, was comfortable, well equipped and better than our expectation. On the first evening we ate at the Brasserie and really enjoyed food and outside ambience. The second night we met our friends for dinner in... More

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds next to a Disney type chateau.the food in the main restaurant was delicious and well presented by good staff overlooking a lake, for a more casual dinner the clubhouse situated across a court yard was good

Spent a short Golf break at this fine hotel/cottages in the spring. The woodman style self catering cottage could have come out of Hans Christian Anderson stories, so peaceful. The 18 hole manicured Golf course is not difficult but challenging in places. Plenty of trees and water. Certainly planning to return in 2015 for a longer break.
