We stayed recently for four nights at the Dolphin Bay Suites, which my wife had seen advertised in the Whale And Dolphin Conversation (WDC) Newsletter. The accommodation certainly lived up to our expectations. We were in Apartment 7, which is situated on the ground floor. It is very spacious with large lounge/kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom and patio. Although we didn’t... More

Just back from 3 nights at the Dolphin Bay Suites and one of our best self catering experiences ever. Great accommodation, great welcome from the owners, very clean and a beautiful setting. Agree that a car is a necessity to make the most of the surroundings. We would definitely go back one day.

Stayed here for 8 nights, having flown into Inverness and hired a car. Less than ten minutes drive from the airport. A car is necessary to see the sights. The suites are in an excellent location, right on the water. However, to see the dolphins and seals, you are better off driving to the other side of the Moray Firth... More

We just spent 3 nights at the Dolphin Bay Suites and absolutely loved it there. Paul the owner was very friendly and helpful in suggesting where to have a good meal. He made sure we knew he was only a call away if we needed anything. The apartments were spotlessly clean and were well equipped with anything we needed including... More

Second time there and we can't wait to go back there. Paul and Sally are wonderful, warm and helpful people. Flats 2 and 3 provide you with the utmost comfort and offer the best view ever. You like you're at home. Convenient location on the waterfront, 10 minutes from Inverness (a bit further for Nessie) and so close to all... More

I loved this place. We arrived after a long flight and the drive up from Glasgow to be greeted by the beautiful views across the water as the suites are direct waterfront. The apartment was quiet and welcoming and very well equipped. We used it as a base to visit Inverness, Tain, Strathpeffer, Elgin, Nairn and Glenfiddich. Fort George was... More

We were met by Paul, the owner, who insisted on helping us carry our luggage to our apartment. Both Paul and Sally are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The apartments are wonderful, equipped with everything you need, even milk in fridge and washing powder and dishwasher tablets. The apartments are modern and very clean and comfortable. Each... More

My abiding memory of the wonderful week we spent at Dolphin Bay Suites will be the evening I spent standing on the balcony of our apartment watching dolphins leap around a fishing boat as it made its way up the Moray Firth whilst yet another achingly beautiful sunset played itself out over the mudflats, the water and the hills. Utterly... More

Just ended our 5 night stay here in our 2 bedroom spacious flat, third floor- room #3. We loved the unit, location and especially the Highlands; we are very sad to be leaving. Flats are well equipped, very comfortable for families with children and the owner/managers are very friendly and helpful. I fell in love with the beautiful view from... More

We stayed for a week whilst the Scottish Open was on. It was a great location, fantastic views, owners very helpful.Nice village with shop, pub, and local cheesery. Didn't see any dolphins though! All in all highly recommended.
