Having read fabulous reviews I sent a contact request to the hotel on 20 January as directed to by their own website. All I needed was for them to confirm that they accepted dogs. Their reviews said so yet the website said to contact to confirm, so I followed instructions. Having no response by 22 January I sent an email... More

Horrible??? Ferme du Vert is closed for annual holidays from 03rd January to 05th February 2016 (please check our website www.fermeduvert.com "infos & location"). You have booked on line for September 2016 and sent us an email for a request about your dog. Yes, my email organisation is slower in January when we are closed, that's right (I replied to... More

We were recommended by a guest of ours who lives near Boulogne Sur Mer to stay at this wonderful hotel. Sadly we were only stopping off en route to the French Alps so we didn't get to experience the surrounding area of Pas de Calais and the Opal Coast. We stayed in the tastefully renovated barn with rooms next to... More

We stayed for just one night in this charming rural hotel. The welcome was very friendly (including a friendly Spaniel!). We stayed in a standard twin room, which was warm and clean, it also had a brand new bathroom (no bath, only shower). The soundproofing was pretty good. It had a small flatscreen TV, and free Wifi which worked well. The... More

We have stayed here several times and it never fails to impress. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. The restaurant staff are excellent and the food is fantastic. The rooms are well appointed and spacious and very importantly the beds are very comfy. If you are looking for somewhere to stay to explore the area then I would highly... More

We had a really nice stay here - our second visit. We had a very comfortable room just above the restaurant reached by external stairs but that was no problem at all. Very good bathroom too. The dinner we had was excellent and the restaurant was very pleasant with a large log fire. It was busy but the service was... More

Very pastoral setting (duckpond, etc) which wife loved. I was frustrated by non-working internet, absence of any english language TV and limited views from room only to be had on tiptoe or standing on a chair! Felt very isolated! Restaurant goodish.

We arrived quite late having traveled all day and were greeted with a warm welcome, and a dinner table set aside for our arrival. Our newly renovated room was very simple, but very comfortable with state of the art bathroom fixtures. The restaurant was really excellent with a simple but elegant decor. Loved the tartan plaid cushions, huge fireplace and... More

We stayed overnight, with our dog, in a beautiful ground floor suite, across the courtyard. It is so peaceful and the welcome is charming from Madame. We had one of the best meals ever in France too, which was wonderful. We so look forward to returning.

Stayed here for one night before catching the tunnel home. It was fab. Our room was the junior suite and it was lovely. Beautifully done and the bathroom was amazing. My husband was really please as at 6'7 he struggles sometimes with low shower heads - This one I swear we could have 7 feet off the ground! The hotel... More

Really charming with a touch of understated class. Excellent restaurant, great service, superb food, delicious wines and cheese. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the bathrooms are a nice standard for bed and breakfast. Breakfast was very civilised, a good choice of breakfast foods. The rooms in the main house and the grounds are perfectly charming. In a... More
