We made our 4th trip to Venice this summer at the tail end of a 4 week trip to Italy. We had stayed outside Venice the last time, in the Hotel Villa Gasparini just outside central Dolo along the Riviera del Brenta (about 15 km outside of Venice)... and we enjoyed it so much we returned this time. On our... more

I enjoyed very much the time spent at Villa Gasparini. The rooms are very nice decorated in venetian style, very clean, the staff is very helpful, they told us that if we want a bigger breakfast we can have it for 5€ extra, it was much better than having only coffee, bread and marmalade. It was a good choice staying... more

We spent 5 wonderful days in the Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful in all matters. There is a cycle hire service that allows a pleasant alternative from the walking that is involved when exploring the city of Venice. There are waymarked cycle trails that take you through the countryside, past some amazing villas. The local bus service is cheap... more

We are a childless married couple in our 30's, my wife an actress and myself a UK Barrister (lawyer) and music producer by profession. We stayed at The Hotel Villa Gaspirini in early June 2008 for 7 days. We were astonished to find this 3 Star Hotel had no tea making facility, no complimentary biscuits, water etc., no iron and... more

I represent one of the partners of Hotel Villa Gasparini and I would like to express also our own point of view about what's happened. The man and the lady, who stayed in our hotel for a week, attracted soon a particular attention because some of our clients, with an adjacent room to them, complained about their violent quarrels but...

Just came back from a European tour, which all in all ,was wonderful. The Hotel Villa Gasparini was beautiful, my daughter was wowed. The room and the hotel were beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The room matches exactly what it says on their site, exquisite, velvet, jacuzzi etc. However they do not give you specific instruction as to how to... more

I represent one of the partners of Hotel Villa Gasparini and I would like to emphasize some aspects. About breakfast, you speak about continental breakfast and that's what we offered you, a buffet breakfast is something different and more complete that we serve in a bigger area upstairs. When you booked it was specified that a contintental and not a...

The Villa Gasparini is a great place to stay when visiting Venice. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. There is more space in these rooms then I have seen in most European destinations. Friendly and helpful staff with great breakfast. The bus stop is conveniently located just steps outside the hotel door. more

This Villa is convenient to Venice (15 Km). The staff is very helpful and speaks English very well. The Villa is located on SR11 between Dolo and Mira. Sufficient parking is available on the street and there is an excellent restaurant Villa Noni (something) which is about 1 Km toward Venice. I would highly recommend this hotel for one or... more

The Villa Gasparini represents the best of Italian hospitality, with beautifully renovated spacious rooms and hosts that make you feel like part of the family. Venice is easily accessible by bus 50 meters from the door, or you can drive about the countryside and enjoy the "Venetian Riviera" with its charming villages and elegant summer palaces. Every town we visited... more

Ok, so I see a review up here that describes the hotel as an awfull hotel. First of all the hotel itself is super.. It is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever been to. Very nice rooms.. We also stayed at the road side but when you close the wooden blinds you don't here anything but the breeze of... more

We thought staying outside of Venice central would be a sensible option to get more value for money than many expensive city based accommodations, however, never again! I chose this hotel/villa for several reasons but felt let down on all accounts. The Villa website said it had a "shuttle bus" to/from the airport & that getting to/from the hotel to... more

The most part of the review concerns the local bus' transports, the bus drivers and the difficult to find out bus tickets. I'm the owner and I think it should be helpful for the tourists to know what follows. The buses run every 10/15/20 mnts (it depends) and in case someone needs we are able to provide the file with...
