Great hotel that is situated outside of Venice, it will be hard to get to if you are not travellang by car but it can be done.I believe that it is worth the effort to get out of the tourist element that surrounds Venice. We chose this hotel initially for it's availability of a triple room and found it an excellent place to stay if you are traveling by car and planning on visiting Venice for a day but do not want the hassle of dragging luggage onto boats. I stayed here last week with my husband and young daughter and we had a lovely relaxing stay. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hotel Villa Alberti is outside of Venice but the bus picks up close to the hotel and take only 30 minutes to reach Venice. The cost is about 4 Euros round trip.
