Certainly in a beautiful location. However room originally shown to was still occupied so taken to another! - sadly not a grand view of the gardens as overpowered by trees directly outside the window, hence a tad dark and oppressive, i paid more to be in the main bulding. I asked if there was another lighter room with a bathroom... More

Our two-night stay at this beautiful old villa on the Brenta River near Venice was a superbly relaxing end to a Christmas break in northern Italy. It's a classy place, backed and surrounded by extensive, well-tended formal gardens, including scores of fruit trees--the work of the dedicated and artistically inclined owner. The breakfast is good, the conversation lively, and the... More

We only stayed one night in this lovely hotel, which is an old and beautiful villa. The length of our stay (a stopover on the way through the Veneto to Padua) did not do the place justice, as we instantly recognised as we had some peaceful drinks on the back patio in the evening. The common parts are beautifully furnished;... More

Stayed here for two nights on our visit to Venice (our third time staying at the hotel). This is a three-star hotel, but you get the impression it should be four stars, in terms of the beautiful setting and the classy accommodations. The airconditioned rooms are spacious, clean and classicly appointed. The free of charge wifi was also very good.... More

We loved our 3 nights at the Villa Alberti in September 2011, and would recommended this friendly and relaxed experience to anyone touring this region looking for a romantic break! We were so delighted to find this elegant 18th-century Palladian villa filled with beautiful antiques, offering a rare taste of gracious living from a long lost time. Surrounded by luxurious... More

Staying at the Hotel Villa Alberti was a charming glimpse into a storied ancient way of vacation life that the nobility of Venice enjoyed for countless decades. The entire setting of the old villas lining the Brenta River, the Villa Alberti included, gave me, and my three daughters, a glimpse into a part of Venetian history that most travelers to... More

Dear Mr Dezzutti and Ms Brown, Bianchi and King, We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay, our hotel and the Riviera del Brenta. We are also glad that you found our hotel “a great place to stay” because of its accessibility to Padua and Venice, its location and environment, its comforts and, of coarse, the staff cordiality. Hoping... More

The location is good for exploring the Palladio area, which I found to be beautiful, interesting, and worth a visit in itself. The architecture and towns along the canals seemed quite unique to this part of Italy. We stayed at Villa Alberti, however, to meet friends in Venice for Carnival. As we made our plans late and there were not... More

My husband and I visited Villa Alberti in May following a week in Venice. We had our two adult sons, one daughter-in-law to be and an elderly toy poodle with us. Everyone loved it. The rooms were spotless and comfortable with good beds, small refrigerators and very modern bathrooms. The location was perfect for us to visit Palladian Villas and... More

Great hotel that is situated outside of Venice, it will be hard to get to if you are not travellang by car but it can be done.I believe that it is worth the effort to get out of the tourist element that surrounds Venice. A peaceful and relaxing hotel with gret surroundings. If you are traveling by bus then direct buses... More

We chose this hotel initially for it's availability of a triple room and found it an excellent place to stay if you are traveling by car and planning on visiting Venice for a day but do not want the hassle of dragging luggage onto boats. (We saw many miserable tourists doing this!) It is difficult to find, do not rely... More
