I stayed at Villa Ducale during a recent tour of Italy. Although most of the other people on the tour were satisfied with their rooms I was put in the last available room which was Room 27. Unfortunately this room seems to be the last unrenovated one and was unsatisfactory from several points of view. The room is dark and... More

This hotel was a rare treat for all six of us. We stayed for three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. It was an elegant hotel and although it is older, its former glory and graciousness is very well maintained. The decor is lovely. There is no elevator, but the grand staircase makes up for it. The rooms... More

Its my second time to stay at the villa, and to be welcomed by Marguerite, and a few days later Laura. We had a room with two double beds really large and very airy. Linen sheets were replaced a few times during our week, and the room was cleaned very well. That takes skill in a historic building such as... More

Take a step back in time. Lovely villa. My son and I had the Villa Ducalino- a stand alone villa across from the main house. He thought it was awesome. Lovely breakfast in an elegant breakfast room. We are travelers without a car. Villa Ducale is on the bus route and a two minute walk when you return from Venice.... More

We stayed at this hotel as a couple with a 16 month old toddler. It is a fascinating property with a beautiful garden surrounding the building. The hotel in itself is part of the positive experience. It makes you feel the old Venetian lifestyle. It's like being transported back in time. The old Villa has been restored to it's former... More

We came in very late with no bags. Staff very nice, contacted airline for us, also letting us sleep in for breakfast. Great suggestions on multiple inquiries, very accommodating. Location great for Venice access bus or car.

Stayed 2 nights as part of a 3 week tour of Italy & this was the worst place we stayed. We felt that we were just an inconvenience to the staff. Arrived on a Friday when they were preparing for a classical concert. We asked to be directed to the bar (which we have yet to see) & were told... More

Dear Ms Rossies, we really apologize for not being able to satisfy your and your companion's requests your companion during your stay! It' s true, May 23, at Villa Ducale a concert of classical music was held: it was a unique and special event, organized in memory of the founder of Villa Ducale who has recently passed away. There were... More

We visited Villa Ducale just after Easter 2014 having booked a 4 people room (2 adults-2kids) for four nights. First night we were given a room which we didn't like (a worn out and small bathroom and the beds of the kids separated, one into a small room and the other in a converted corridor, also facing the road with... Villa Ducake is a stunning gem situated on the Riviera del Brenta. Club Europe Group Travel has had the privilege of organizing few concerts in collaboration with the kind and professional owner of the Villa, Elisabetta Fogarin. All the English orchestras, choir, jazz bands that had the privilege of performing there during this summer have nothing but praises for this... More

This hotel was a mansion in the days when people of this region bathed in money (figuratively) Our room (#30) was quite nice. Due to time constraints, we were not able to enjoy the grounds which were extremely well tended to and palatial in scope. We were however able to enjoy a breakfast in their "Restaurant" off the lobby that... More
