The location is excellent, being walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the supermarket. For the first week that I stayed here, the internet would not work. Or it would work for 2 minutes, then shut off again. When I complained at the front desk, they could not get in touch with the IT guy. Apparently he wasn't on... More

Great location near restaurants, bars and a supermarket. Helpful staff. Spacious room, awful bed covers and suspicious mattress. Paper thin walls that allows you to have a comfortable conversation with the hotel guests next door. The bathroom was not clean and the carpet seems like needs a urgent wash. Good WiFi signal on the rooms for free. Apparently the best... More

The hotel is well located, close to restaurants, a supermarket, and a drugstore. However, it has many problems, such as dirty rooms, ugly furniture, old and small TV set, slow Internet, poor breakfast, and noisy air conditioning system. The staff don't speak a single word of English.

The Chaillot Hotel is simple but functional. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly, although very limited in speaking English. There is a nice outdoor swimming pool. A big advantage is the hotel location, which is across the street from a very good restaurant buffet (lunch) and pizzeria (dinner) with good wines and beer. It is... More

Pleasant enough. Clean, friendly. Rooms basic with naked lights from ceiling. Good WiFi. But never, every get your washing done. Eight shirts, similar number of underpants and socks and - how do you get to $150? I have never in 30 years of travelling to many countries, in hotels of all sizes and starts been so soundly ripped off. The... More

Chaillot Plaza is an ok hotel, but not much more. It´s on a new (< 10 yr old, I guess) and well located property, near one of the exits to Marechal Rondon Highway. It´s a small to medium venture, with only two floors and perhaps less than 50 rooms. The staff was helpfull and corteous through all my stay, and... More

The hotel was a little bit shabby with some maintenance problems. Not convenient or inconvenient. The best pizzeria in town is across the street and there's a grocery store a block away. It is a bit noisy. The staff tried to be helpful. I got the impression that they receive few non-Brazilian travelers. The complimentary breakfast was poor.
