We had a thoroughly mediocre time for $300+ a night. The staff was OK - no spark, but no one was overtly obnoxious. The room was very simple and ill-suited for a couple. I realize that most convention hotels are designed around single travelers on an expense account, but the prices were high, the drinks watery, and the food non-memorable.... More

My husband & I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is beautiful with great views! The restaurants are expensive, but the good food and drinks at the sports bar are less expensive. You really don't have to leave this hotel for anything. The rooms are nice & comfortable. (Just a bit far from the elevator.)... More

I had a four day stay here in October 2012 (room 4-159). If you are coming here then you are probably attending a convention. The hotel is huge, with 2000 rooms and is popular with convention organisers because it is quite isolated, meaning that attendees tend to stay at the convention rather than being tempted away by sightseeing or distractions... Great service. The hotel is beautifully laid out and has every amenity you can imagine. The location right on the Harbor is great. Plenty of things to do and just a short drive to D.C. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for our wedding night since our actual honeymoon is a couple of weeks later. We were treated like royalty! From the valet to the bell hop to the front desk, everyone was wonderful. We ate at the steakhouse and it was fabulous! We will be back for the Christmas lights and events.

The hotel over-booked for overlapping conferences. Staff unprepared and not enough rooms for expected guests. Very inconvenient to have to move hotels during a conference and more inconvenient when the only hotels availabe are several miles away. Hotel is beautiful. Shampoo/condition/soaps very nice. Room - unfortuantely the bath tub plug seemed out of balance, but the first couple times did... More

I attended a large conference at this center and stayed in the hotel. The structure is impressive and beautiful overlooking the Potomac River. A water taxi service is just outside to take you to Alexandria Virginia if you have time and shuttles will pickup for DC tours from the hotel. This is very convenient. The staff are friendly and efficient,... More

I admit, the hotel looks nice! But coming to a convention and find out they are not prepared? Oh boy... came to check in after 15 hours flight from Israel... no room (though I had a reservation)... they sent me to a hotel (10 minutes away) for one night... Also, they failed to advise that the credit card on reservation... More

This is a great convention hotel. The lobby looks somewhat like a small city and has numerous sitting areas and bars/restaurants for quick meetings. I think the staff was extremely friendly and helpful . The hotel lobby overlooks the Potomac, which is a beautiful backdrop. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and confortable. I thought the sheets were a bit... More

The hotel was very spacious and had a lot of places to network. Although the resort was extremely large, it was easy to find things. Staff were all professional and nice. Outstanding dining and shopping in the area! Great place to stay!
