Attended a conference at this facility and stayed five nights. It's a lovely facility with the signature Gaylord huge atrium. Unlike other Gaylord hotels I have stayed at, this hotel had an elegant feel to it. I was fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite - extremely comfortable. The view over National Harbor was just stunning with the bridge... More

Here for a convention.. I should have stayed at the Westin or aloft .. My trip started with waiting at the valet for literally 7 minutes.. She only had one guest in front of me but they were friends and had to catch up.. Rooms are poor.. Holes in bathroom tile, water is not a constant stream, and it is... More

I stay at this hotel at least once a year for a business convention. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I prefer a hotel room with a balcony to the outside so I can enjoy the fresh air without leaving my room which, this hotel doesn't have. The conference rooms are roomy and comfortable. Shopping is great and close by... More

Attended a conference here this week. I had a lovely King room with an atrium facing balcony. I enjoyed leaving the door open, albeit it a bit loud. (Closed, you heard nothing. So no worries there.) There are multiple levels of conferencing space and spread out. During my stay, there were several groups meeting. Wouldn’t you know my exhibit space... More

Hubby had a conference here so I came along. We have been to numerous conferences at various hotels/ convention centres and I found this one to be even a bit smaller in size. That's compared to some of the larger ones in Orlando etc. but a perfect size. Not too big, but just enough places to eat- 3- and a... More

I think the only reason anyone would come here is to attend a conference - that's why I was here. The place is huge - I don't think I have ever stayed in a bigger hotel. It is also very convenient for the conference. The downside is that unless you are careful you will have to walk for 5 minutes... More

I stayed at the Gaylord for a convention for 3 nights. The room was nice, but did not get an atrium or river view - just looked across at another building. I was only in the room to sleep though, so no big deal. My only real complaints are that there is not indication on the walls or the back... More

Stayed at the Gaylord NAtional this past weekend. Had a great experience. THis hotel is beautiful. Service was excellent, room was spacious, clean, great decoration. BAthroom was nice size with great amenities. Would highly recommend this place and would love to comeback. Also, the area around the hotel is very nice, bunch of dinning and shopping options within walking distances.

The drive in to the National Harbor was stunning, but not nearly as beautiful as the view from the lobby and atrium of the Potomac River, the Wilson Bridge and Downtown Washington DC. For this reason, I agreed to upgrade my room and take and Atrium view. They assigned me 5-137 and the balcony looked down on the Atrium, Courtyard... More
