We stayed a week at the resort which was a nice relaxing environment after an intense safari on the mainland. Great staff; Rafa, Alberto and Flavio are all happy to talk and share their stories, as are the local employees. The rooms are adequate, working fan, air-conditioning, great cleaners and very close to the beach. The resort is clearly respected... More

I just got back from my stay at Waikiki and I had a wonderful time. The resort is located on a stretch of beautiful white sand beach, very relaxing and with stunning views. We arrived on a Friday night just in time for their famous party, very loud and lots of people, we actually enjoyed it a lot and wished... More

Great value, beautiful beach. Restaurant food was fantastic and staff were lovely. Don't go on Friday if you don't like to party until 2am; there are no rooms that one would be able to sleep in and not hear the incredibly loud music. We were happy to dance and stay up but I'm sure others would not be so impressed.... More

Stayed here 3 nights starting on a Friday (which meant they had a party starting about 10pm where they invite people from all over the island and have a local acrobatics performance). One of the better hotels we stayed at and the best views. We arrived during a slow point and ended up in a upgraded room. Sarah and Flavio... More

This resort is just awesome. The accommodation are not luxurious, but they do provide what you need. Beach is fantastic, could not have asked for more. Miles and miles of just white sand. Not much to do in the area. The design of the whole resort is just amazing.

This resort is on an interesting beach, where low tide takes the turquoise ocean very far away and creates a huge stretch of beach with its own wildlife, while high tide comes up almost to the Zanzibari day-beds and umbrellas. The hotel is a collection of little bungalows dotted in beach sand, surrounding a central open restaurant and bar area.... More

We had a truly wonderful time at Waikiki. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, right on the beach, and cleaned every morning. The only problem was a lack of hot showers for the first couple of days, which was very disappointing, but the staff worked hard to resolve the issue. The beach on which the hotel is situated is beautiful,... More

Very beautiful place, very inviting staff, the rooms are comfortable and clean and they had hot water. After a long visit in Africa, it was a surprise to find such good food (Italian)- try the pizza! The staff was very generous- they let us do a late check-out at no extra cost. I recommend to you to stay in this... More

Arriving at Waikiki Zanzibar Resort was like stepping into a screensaver. The staff was absolutely phenomenal on top of the beautiful scenery. Flavio the GM, takes every bit of feedback into account and wants this resort to be the best possible location for holiday-goers. Extremely organized, clean, and hardworking staff also attributed to this magnificent stay. The food was delicious... More

I had a lovely stay in this secluded oasis of Pwani Mchangani. The facilities were comfortable, quiet and located on a beautiful beach. The service was excellent and could be compared to typical American/European hospitality. I took a few excursions arranged by an on site service and had a wonderful time. Management was very kind and promptly attended my requests.... More
