I frankly didn't recognise this Agriturismo from some of the mealy-mouthed reviews posted here. We have just spent 5 days there and loved it: stunning position, friendly staff and wonderful food. Also the aircon was very efficient in unseasonal temperatures of 35C+, can't imagine how someone thought it didn't exist! You have to remember that this is not a 5-star... more

Il Poggio degli Olivi has a hillside setting with a great view of Assisi across the valley. The staff was as helpful as they could be considering their so-so English skills. As one would expect with an agriturismo, it's in the country but it's paved roads all the way, and there are signs everywhere in the area pointing to the... more

The place is located on the hills around Assisi and you have a magnificent view from the restaurant. The daughters of the owner were very unpleasant, not willing at all to help. We complained about the water taps on the sink and on the bath tub, since they were clogged with limestone. Nothing was done. The service at the restaurant... more

If you don't mind the smell of barn yard animals first thing in the morning and you can go without a shower because the plumbing went out overnight, then this is the place for you. Despite the beautiful view from the reception/restaurant this agritourisimo needs some fine tuning. The directions were good but you need to keep an eye out... more

My son and I stayed at Agriturismo Poggio Degli Olivi for two days in June 2008. We only wished we had a week to spend there! We expected much less for the price. It is necessary to have a car to get to it, but it was well worth the extra drive to get there, and there was good signage... more

We stayed here for 7 nights, as we used this as a base for numerous day trips around Umbria. Our rate was 110 Euros per night. This agritourismo greatly exceeded our expecations. It was very elegant and well kept, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place could be difficult to find, as you have to follow numerous... more

We stayed here for 2 days in late May. It was difficult to find even with detailed Google maps, but when we found it what a pleasant surprise. We had one of the standard hotel style rooms (they also have self catering apartments) which was modern with good quality fittings and standard of building. The views are to die for,... more

This lovely inn is on the top of a hill in the middle of an olive grove. The facility is relatively new- and is part of the Italian government's "Agricoturismo" program which encourages farms to become inns and bed and breakfasts. The views across the Valle d'Umbra are unforgettable!! Perugia, Assisi and Trevi can all be seen from the hilltop.... more

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a marvelous time. There were 8 of us and the setting is spectacular, the food was terrific and the hospitality wonderful. All 4 of our rooms were in the separate building just a short walk up the drive from the main building and restaurant. These rooms were comfortable and spacious. We had... more

We spent 3 nights here in late sept 2006 on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. We paid 70 pounds sterling per room per night and for value for money we couldnt beat it. The hotel although a bit out of the way has beautiful views. Be careful if arriving during the night since its not that easy to find.... more
