Had a 3 night stay purchased site unseen. While I have an appreciation of the age and perhaps historic past of more grandiose times, it was just ok. The decor of rooms and halls could use updating. The public areas were appropriate for the location and golf atmosphere. I'm sure it is perfect for day of golf and drinks. As... More

We went to the Seaview with a group of eight couples to celebrate several birthdays. The grounds are beautiful, as were the golf courses. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful, and we all spent a good deal of time by the pool. The hotel is old and has a lot of charm, but the rooms are in desperate... More

Spent four nights here while visiting my family nearby. An advance rate made the stay affordable. The room was nice but the service has room for improvement. The highlight of the stay was the lobby bar bartenders. Two wonderful ladies, Anna and Pam. They do add a resort fee to the bill each day, which I find annoying.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff didn't even make eye contact with us, even though we were the only guest waiting. They continued with what they were doing behind the desk and we even had to approach them to see if this was where we should check in. One woman at desk was being rude to a hotel guest on... More

I felt like I was staying at my 90 year old grandmothers house in the back guest room that no one knows about. Paid a lot of money for dark hallways with yellow wall paper, musty (smoke smelling) room and a blurry analog TV signal on the HD TV. Very unimpressed and will never stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Seaview for three nights in a deluxe king room, the room was spacious and comfortable. The room walls are thin so you do hear louder people in the halls and adjacent rooms. The lobby is very nicely decorated in traditional style, the lounge area has some great cozy seating. We will probably stay here... More

We loved this place - it's old --100 years but has that ritzy high class old world southern charm. Lots of history and intrigue. The Rolling stones stayed here once as did royalty. The rooms nice, pool was great! Gym was a bit outdated but pretty big and had all the equipment, water, fruit and was free. Wifi free too... More

I have visited this hotel many times through many different owners. It is old fashioned but a great historic feel. They have a pool which is great and a wonderful golf course. The family room downstairs is great entertainment for the entire family. Giant screen TV , pool tables and video games kept everyone busy for hours. It's a short... More

Just came back from a 3 night stay. We've travelled quite a bit recently and never stayed at a nicer place. The staff was attentive and helpful, the resort was impeccably clean and the place looks like something out of a movie with an enormous lobby and beautiful dinning area. An indoor and outdoor pool, two golf courses what more... More

Stayed at Seaview over 4th of July weekend. Check in was fast and room was ready. We purchased the breakfast included and was glad we did. They had a waffle and omelet place made to order! Dining area was beautiful. Our room had a king size bed and very roomy bath and shower. Swimming pool was great too with a... More
