My friend and I have just spent two nights at The Old Pump House. I couldn't find a single negative thing to say even if I were minded to! Upon arrival we were greeted by the charming owners and had tea and cake (the best banana cake I've ever had!) in the idyllic, peaceful garden. Our rooms were quiet, comfortable... More

What a lovely place and with such a warm welcome. Very comfortable, nothing too much trouble, lots of lovely touches. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. If you are in the area, don't stay anywhere else. Breakfast the best I've had in a while.

The Old Pump House is an excellent small B&B with wonderfully comfortable bedrooms and great breakfast. Always a warm welcome and helpful with local restaurant bookings. It is also a good location for those wishing to explore North Norfolk on foot being close to the Weavers Way and other paths through glorious countryside.

The Old Pump House cant be faulted. The rooms are a delight ; beautifully furnished and appointed and the equal of any luxurious hotel, as indeed is the case with the public areas and the beautiful garden which guests can enjoy. Breakfast on both the mornings we were staying was carefully cooked and served in the comfortable dinning room .... More

A fantastic start to our weekend. We arrived very late to a warm welcome. Sumptuous surroundings flavoured with true Norfolk charm - our room was absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast in the morning was cooked to perfection - utterly faultless from start to finish.

This really is a home from home, I felt relaxed as soon as I got in the room. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There's a pub 100 yards down the road, good beer great food. I am usually a bit sceptical about B&Bs but The old Pump House sets a very high standard.

The owners of this lovely place couldn't do enough for their guests. They even said sorry in a email about not putting enough towels in our room. Which wasn't a problem but was touch that they did that. We will be going back there again .the room was very clean and the Brekkie was the best we had. We was... More

Stayed in the Oak Room for two nights in a min-break hold, day. Comfortable room, excellent breakfasts, friendly owners. Strongly recommended as a B&B. Only problem is entrance is on a (surprisingly) busy road right by a complicated junction, so it is easy to over-shoot when first arriving by car.

A beautifully furnished room with wonderful choice of breakfast. Hospitable hosts who even stretched to a pot of tea and beautiful homemade cake on arrival. Immaculate and well thought out... A real treat! X

Great find - not the cheapest but the attention to detail, the hospitality of the owners and the quality of the breakfasts made it more than worth it! Cake and tea on arrival, an absolutely fabulous breakfast (home made muffins, freshly baked croissants, fresh fruit - plus whatever cooked items you fancy) and great local recommendations made this somewhere we...
