This was our second visit to The Old Pump House, sheer bliss. Chris and Irene are the perfect hosts, they have a wealth of knowledge of the local area. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was gorgeous and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and certainly set you up for the... More

The Old Pump House is a lovely guest house! We stayed for 2 nights in March as part of our 'get out of London' country break and it was perfect for our needs. The room was great, we were offered tea and banana cake in the lovely Georgian breakfast room on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble at breakfast, plenty... More

Stayed in early December along with other wedding guests and the Bride and groom. Nothing was too much trouble for the delightful owners from tea and biscuits on arrival right through to an excellent breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend

We stayed here for two nights in September as did my parents as we had a wedding in a village about 10 mins away. Chris and Irene were extremely welcoming and helpful. About two weeks before we were due to arrive I asked if we could have a triple room instead of a double as a friend had announced she... More

We've stayed before but not since the new owners took over... It was excellent then, it is excellent now! Beautifully decorated and appointed rooms, friendly, cosy, welcoming. Outstanding breakfast choice, quality of ingredients and cooking. We will be back again soon.

We stayed here on our wedding night & booked all 5 rooms for friends. Our stay was oustanding. The owners were so hospitable, they even set out wine for us in the dining room for when we returned in the early hours. The breakfast was cooked beautifully using excellent quality, fresh produce with a wide variety of choices on the... More

Would wholeheartedly agree with all other positive comments left by others. Great B&B. Spotless, comfortable, friendly. Nothing too much trouble for Chris and Irene - they even poached my breakfast kipper for me!! (Most go for the grill option, which I find dries them out too much.) Highly recommended.

We arrived very muddy after a 26 mile bike ride and Chris and Irene kindly stored our bikes and dried our jackets and shoes. We were then showed to our room which was beautiful and Irene kindly brought us fresh tea and a lovely cake. Felt very welcome and breakfast was just lovely, would thoroughly recommend it and will certainly... More

great welcome from Chris and Irene. Very comfortable and warm room with big bed and bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with good tea and coffee and full English. We will return to this guesthouse in a nice Norfolk small town.
