What a wonderful example of old world charm, the Staff could not be more accommodating, the location is stunning and I will return when the weather is a little kinder! The food was excellent and the log fires were most welcome on a cold damp Sunday.

We recently enjoyed a weekend break in this beautiful old house. It was, as other reviewers have said, like a home away from home. Noreen and Joe and the other staff members we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are magnificent and a pleasure to look out onto.

We stayed overnight in this country hotel. The house was originally part of the Lismore castle estate until it was sold and has been in private hands as a private home and now a hotel catering mainly for groups of Fishermen. Spent 2 nights at Ballyrafters, wish it had been more. Beautiful room with incredible view, great food, the dinners were gourmet! Excellent breakfast, particulary enjoyed the coal fires in the den and dining room.
