For a long time I have wanted to stay at Hanora's Cottage and finally I made it recently. Sometimes reality fails to meet expectations, but that certainly was not the case on this occasion. The setting is beautiful, nestled between the mountains and oh so tranquil. I received a lovely welcome from Ina who served a lovely afternoon tea and... More

We've just enjoyed an all-too-short one night break at Hanora's Cottage on Midsummer 's Day. After a most genuine welcome we were shown to our room where the comforting sound of the babbling waters of the river made for an amazing backdrop to our beautiful room. Tea/Coffee/Muffins were offered & gratefully accepted on the Terrace. Dinner was glorious, unhurried &... More

We were spoilt for choice at breakfas and the quality of our evening meals was top-class. The room we stayed in was very spacious and overlooked the river. We... More

Very peaceful although we did not get chance to do any walking can imagine it would be a great base. Breakfast was as good as we have ever had,... More

This place is not even close to Michelin. The meat was gray, the sauce just did not taste and a 5 year old could have... More
