What a lovely place. In the heart of the medieval old town with a splendid waterside boardwalk and a castle where Joan de Arc was imprisoned, lays the restaurant with simple but stylish interior decor. The set menu we took had only 2 options and both were tasty and fresh. Nice ambiance, good standards but the staff could be a... More

Ideally situated this B&B has everything down to perfection. We had a very large room under the roof, a real gem. Breakfast was perfect with excellent coffee. Certainly an address to recommend. As a bonus, we were able to borrow two bikes to explore the area. Thank you Daniele

Our stay at Au Velocipede was an absolute delight. Tucked away by the church in the old part of St Valery, this little B&B has been very stylishly renovated, and is run by a very friendly couple. Nothing is too much trouble, and the breakfast is fantastic. We also had afternoon tea in the cafe/restaurant, which is open between midday... More

In the middle of a very pretty medieval town, this equally nice B&B is ran by a very friendly and little shy couple, who will go out of their way to help you. The breakfast is superb! Only for nitpickers: parking near the hotel will cost you 8 euros for 24 hours. Just make sure you bring enough coins. A... More

Most unusual and interesting hotel / guesthouse, up on the hill in the medieval part of this lovely town. The room was superb - a kind of shabby chic style - and the tearoom was also very stylish. Superb breakfast, served by the friendly couple who run the place. We would recommend it. Great place to walk around, but eating... More

Au Vélocipède is, besides a B&B, also a bistro and tea-room, which is well known for its varieties of cake, sweets, home made pie, … In this case you would expect to be offered a welcome drink, for example some coffee with a piece of cake. None of that, we payed 12 euros for our coffee and cake! We missed... More

Situated on quiet street in old part of town. Large room, very comfortable bed and so clean. Breakfast was a delight - such good croissants and best bread ever. The jam was to die for - made by Brits who live in France! Wonderful coffee. Pascal ,owner, recommended restaurants that were excellent (but not in St Valery!) Only criticism was... More
