This hotel has to be one of the worst we have stayed in! We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to find there was no parking whatsoever; we were lucky that a place came free right outside and was reserved for us to unload bags, by a helpful waiter. Our second floor room (no lift and no help offered to carry... More

We have stayed here rwice before but the new owners seem to have hiked the price up. On the positive side the room was clean and the food quite good in the restaurant,. Negatives included the smell of stale tobacco despite being a non smoking room. smell of stale urine on W\C floor , traffic whizzing past late into the... More

We chose this because we thought we would find it difficult finding a hotel late n a Friday evening? The room was very nice and big because they only had a room for 3 left. It has a very good view over the harbour and the marshes. Just the sort of thing we like. Very comfortable beds, good shower etc.... More

Firstly, the good points. The location which was close to restaurants and amenities and the room was clean. However, the "Family" room was small with only a shower and not very good value compared to other hotels of a similar standard I have stayed at in France. The main disappointment was that the main reason why I had booked the... More

Very well situated facing the quai with views of the river and bay. Good attentive service. Rooms are not large but are comfortable and clean. THe price I paid was good value but regrettably the new owers (after I had booked) have just increased them a bit too much. Rooms were quiet.

The rooms are small and minimalist but spotless, comfy and warm and all have great views over the bay. The restaurant serves delicious seafood, highly recommended on a Monday night when the rest of St Valery seems to close down. The breakfast is a bit sparse for the price, but there are plenty of options in the town.

Stayed one night enroute to Loire Valley. Old building facing canal and estuary, but on a very busy road (day and night) with considerable parking problems. All the rooms are very small and ours was sparsely furnished although clean and newly decorated. Shower only. The food in the restaurant was very good with a wide choice of seafood. Breakfast however... More

For 65 euros I think this is a bargain. Yes the decor is a bit odd and the rooms are small but if you are staying for one or two nights you can't really go wrong. Comfy beds - excellent quality linen - with plenty of spare pillows in the room. - TV with satellite channels were included ( I... More

Used the hotel as a base whilst visiting the Baie de Somme Railway. The rooms are fairly basic but spotlessly clean and everything worked, the view accross the bay was wonderful and made you forget the room! As others have said the traffic noise on a Sunday is a little irritating but that view is worth it! We found most... More

we stayed 2 nights last week 15th june - the hotel is well situated and peaceful. However the staff really could do better with a warm welcome. I was surprised there were no drinks facility in the room (a french thing?). the breakfast @ 9 euro was rather steep. parking is not free until 7-00pm, although i did notice the... More
