The hotel property is simply beautiful; everywhere you look there is an incredible view. The gardens are very well kept and are gorgeous and the pools are quite clean and nice, especially the fresh water one that normally is less crowded. The restaurants are average in quality, quite decent for this type of hotel. The waiters’ service at the pool... More

The hotel grounds are very beutiful - it's set in an old hacienda, which I believe was used for sugar production in post-colonial Mexico. The rooms are quite old fashioned, but very spacious and comfortable. There are a few pools to choose from, so you can have a bit of peace and quiet even when the hotel is busy. I... More

Went on an overnight trip to a party near the hotel, good service, colonial style hotel. Don't expect a fancy new modern hotel whilst visiting a historical and colonial "pueblo", lovely original architecture and traditional mexican food. Great sunday buffet! would definitely stay again.

Well, I have ambivalent feelings with this hotel. It is located in a beautiful area, an old hacienda, with golf course, pools, "waterfall", some ancient trees, really nice, indeed. They claim themselves as a 5 star hotel, which is absolutely not true. The area could be 4 star, but the rooms are 2 star, bathroom is 0 star. Old buildings... More

I have stayed at the Hacienda on several occasions going back to the 1960's. The extensive grounds, aqueducts, pools, golf course, trees, flowers and fauna have stayed remarkably unchanged and well maintained. This is a place to swim, lounge and play outdoors. The rooms have aged some and can not be compared to brand new hotels. If you are going... More

So expensive for what it offers. The Hacienda is beautiful though the rooms are awful in all senses. For the cost of the night (around 150 USD), you get: Old small tv, terrible mattress, sheets so old felt like paper, 2 horrendous amenities (look at the pictures), an old and bad maintained shower, a sofa very uncomfortable and the overall... Visually stunning facility. Very large hotel which is fully enclosed. The rooms are first rate although it pays to ask for one with air conditioning. The hotel is an old building cluster and as such rooms are comfortable yet the internet links are weak and unreliable. This is a full service hotel with an adjacent golf course and plenty of... More

My sister got married here and it was a perfect place for everyone to get together! The staff are friendly, the grounds are GORGEOUS (she still has people asking about her wedding pics), the food was delicious and there are numerous pools to enjoy. There are lots of places for the family to hang out together, and big tables in... More

Was put in this hotel for a work meeting. The place is located at the remains of an old Hacienda. Was built in 1958, and it seems as if that was the last time money was put into it. Rooms are large but humid, with runmdown furniture and rock solid beds. Cleanliness is a strange word throughout. Food is poor,... More

The perfect place if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Mexico City. The place is amazing. The very spacious central courtyard dating back to the 16th century with its waterfall and ancient walls exudes tranquility. We had a room with a private pool. The pool had a delicious temperature and is surrounded by very high stone walls... More
