We were there for a couple nights and enjoyed it very much. Although the pool /furniture is very 70's, the place is beautiful, huge, very green and the old Hacienda is great and has a beautiful Mexican charm. Although not luxurious or with modern facilities, we enjoyed it and had a very relaxing time. more

The only positive thing that can be said about the hotel is the property itself. And that's where it ends. The staff was demotivated to help, smiling to them seemed a foreign concept. My wife and I were married here in 1997. It was the best experience ever. We had over 100 guests and we still hear from them that it was one of the best weddings they have attended. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, the staff is helpful, etc. It's not luxury, mind you. At least it wasn't then.... more

I have not visited the Hotel Cocoyoc recently, but when I did (about 12 years ago), it was unbelievable. It was literally like stepping into another world.
