We spent one night here recently as my husband was in the area on business. Our room was lovely and we eat in the restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast. The food was very good on both occasions, my only criticism being the wine was extremely expensive. I took full advantage of the leisure facilities which I thought were... More

I recently attended a conference here and felt the customer service was excellent. The staff clearly care about the hotel and really go the extra mile. I was given a lovely bedroom, which was nicely decorated, modern, clean and had all the amenities you'd expect at a good quality hotel. It's in a lovely setting and is very easy to... More

Having read the reviews of this hotel (after we'd booked) and seeing that the majority of them were not particularly complimentary, we were expecting the worst, however we needn't have worried! As we were staying for our 10th Wedding Anniversary we called up the hotel a few days in advance to see if we could have a nice room and/or... More

Stayed here for a wedding Room 203 in main building. Views over fields & motorway in distance, but could not be heard with window closed. A long walk to rooms through two reception rooms & past bar/function rooms. Standard book in at reception. Rooms were well appointed & tastefully decorated, modern & quality feel. Some bar staff seemed incompetent at... More

Beautiful Hotel & Spa. Staff really nice, nothing too much trouble even to supplying tickets for local attractions. Food good, rooms comfortable and well maintained. Excellent spa facilities. Easy reach for Motorways and A roads, short distance for Chester/Zoo. Jodrell Bank and many other places are only a few miles away but the Hotel is in a quiet, pretty village,... More

A short break deal for one night , dinner B&B at Cranage Hall. Complementary wine in room as part of the deal. Food was excellent. The night we were there was buffet dinner night. Main entrance imposing in the original building, but accommodation in modern annexe buildings. Rooms comfortable and clean. There seems to be endless conference rooms and the... More

Stayed here in both Feb and April 2013 for 3nts each due to having a training course onsite. Hotel is okay, it is large and quite like a maze. Food, rooms, facilities and overall presentation all excellent for a corporate event. Staff very attentive and helpful and a very nice breakfast served and not a buffet (which makes a pleasant change).
