We stayed in Chail palace, famous for having part of it filmed in 3 idiots movie. It has a heritage feel and the decor is old world and nice. We were put up in the bungalows / dak ghar which is at least 700 m away from main structure. It is cosy but can get quite cold in the night.... More

Location: Perfect! Felt as if one was in the bed of nature! Rooms: Those with deep pockets can stay in the main palace. We stayed in the Himneel block. Room was good. Bathroom was clean. The lawn in front of the rooms was nice. WiFi: Main palace had WiFi for namesake! You could connect to it, but it will not... More

The palace is situated a km or two away from the main market of Chail. We had booked huts in the Himneel Block which is around half a km away from the main palace. Very well maintained and spacious with all the amenities. The food was good. The palace is surrounded by lush green forests and picturesque location The only menace... More

Just avoid cottages, unless you love giant spiders and spider-mosquito hybrids :) Rooms in palace are very good and I guess worth the price for the experience you will take back with you. Restaurant is one of the best in chail, though they don't cater all items in menu during off peak season, but whatever they do serve is good.... More

This is a huge property which comprises almost 70 acres of area standing on a hill amidst lush green Devdar tress. This is a prime tourist attraction of Chail and one has to pay fifty Rupees to visit this place in case not staying in it. The rooms are categorized in Maharaja, Maharani, Rajkumar, Rajkumari, Vazir, Deewan and all are... More

We were 4 adults and two kids for a 2 night stay in the Maharaja suite. It is a ultra luxurious suite with a living room the size of a badminton court with a double beds, antique sofas and chairs. In addition there is a double bed room. The two bathrooms are the size of a bedroom in their own... More

Stay first time, and you are bound to visit many more times. A government property will mesmerise you by the royal suits, food, hospitality and nature in all its glory. The best thing you drive your car very comfortably in its portico.
