Very very basic - I came expecting this but even I was surprised. A nice BnB, but the noise retention was awful - we were kept awake all night, not just from our ridiculous neighbours who kept slamming the access door and ringing a silly little silly bell all night - and then we had the elephants from hell upstairs.... Everything was very small, but functional and charming. Good service, coffee and tea in the corridor just behind the door at any time of the day, tasty breakfast, great location. Small details like keyring and sugar-tongs make the place special and leave wonderful memories.

Giving high rates to Hotel Palo I have to emphazise that it is not a hotel, it's B&B and if you take it so, it is really good. Hotel has lovely bulding where many of the rooms (or apartements) have separate entrances. In backyard there is place for a car for almost all rooms, but there shouldn't be problems finding... More

We stayed at Hotel Palo for one night at the end of august. Since Moomin World closed one week earlier there were very few tourists in town and we were the only guests at the hotel. The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful and prepared a basic but rather large breakfast buffet only for us. The building itself looks old... More

The hotel is like a home from home. The staff are amazingly attentive and friendly, it is a 5-10 minute stroll from the town centre but a nice walk. The breakfast for a home style b&b is quite good. The Wi-Fi could be better but that's being nit picking. I enjoyed the stay.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Naantali. Perfect location - a very short walk from the bus stop where you're dropped off on the ride from Turku, and about a 10 minute stroll from Naantali's harbour. Also wonderful if you're visiting with children as there's a small playpark right next door, and it's not far from Moominworld at all!... More

We had a conference to attend at the Naantali Spa hotel, but that one was going to be 200 Euro a night. We found this adorable place for about 100 Euro a night just 10 min walk from the conference center. It is in a really cute, quiet part of town just 10 min walk from the harbor and a... More

We spent a night in this little cozy place while visiting Naantali. It is in a walking distance to the harbour, the room was nice a spacious, nicely renovated with well-selected materials and furniture. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast in the basement of the building, once again nicely decorated and the breakfast was really nice, too. The reception... More

Indeed, there are places, that you just want to come back to! This is the second time we stay at Palo. Last year it was a house near the lake, this year it is a house in the middle of the town, yet the same cosy and clean and nice. If you like the 'quotidienne' style - this will be... More

We loved this place, friendly service, lovely breakfast & a great room. This hotel has character & feels like a famiy run b&b. Perfect location for Moomin World. Would definitely stay here again. Much better than the chain hotels unless you're looking for facilities.
