We very much enjoyed our stay here. Guesthouse/hotel is full of character. Rooms are big. Bed is comfortable! Showers are heavenly. Breakfast is to die for! And in a fabulous location too. Great value for money in a great location!!

Very cute hotel in the old town of Edessa. Small but nice and clean rooms with a small fridge and tv. Walking distance from the waterfalls and the town centre. At the back of the hotel is a very nice layered terrace where you can have breakfasts, drinks etc. No dinner served at hotel

My wife and I stayed here while touring northern Greece after seeing it mentioned in the Rough Guide. It is a charming old (restored) building in the old town perched on the cliff side overlooking the Thracian plains. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, the breakfast was very good and it was fantastic value for money. We will definitely... More

We stayed here on vacation while touring through Northern Greece. The location is lovely with views from our rooms onto the mountains and valleys below. The service was warm and attentive, with detailed instructions on what to do locally, where to visit, to eat... Rooms were lovely. Breakfast was very nice as well - eggs, ham/cheese toasts, local yoghourt with... More

We stumbled across this delightful hotel and found an absolute gem, right in the heart of the old town. We intended to stay for a quick drink, but spent the afternoon there, soaking up the atmosphere and surroundings, which are truly unique. The staff are courteous and attentive, and the views from the terrace are simply stunning. Just a shame... More

A beautiful hotel with stunning service from the manager and staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to provide maps and advice of where to go in the area. Not to mention the wonderful apple pie.

We have been there only for coffee and drinks. Everybody talks about Greece but not about Greeks. Please wake up the ones that are sleeping and not the ones that dreaming, let them dream and create a hotel like Varosi. It is built smack on top of the ancient wall of Edessa (that is 2500 years ago) and you will... More

May be hard to get too, but well worth it. Rooms, service, staff.... excellent. Its a short walk to the famous Water falls that you must see during the day and night. We asked for a few special things, they took care of all we asked. We liked it so much and its was the end of our 10 trip,... More

Only thing going for this establishment is its location within the old quarter of Edessa and the beautiful view over the plains of Central Macedonia. This does not make up for the amateurism of its staff that selectively chooses to serve its customers. To give you an example, I ordered a coffee and an orange juice from one of the... More

The hotel was such a welcoming part of our stay in Northern Greece. We were there around min May and although wevhad some bad weather for the season, the comfort of the hotel made up for it at all moments. The two lady owners who run the hotel are so obliging and cheerful. They really get out of their way... More
