After traveling through South Sudan by road, Oasis Camp is a real paradise to rest and get your strength back. Sitting by the Nile and having a real Ethiopian coffee is really the greatest pleasure one could experience. The rooms are clean and tide. The camp was the former "historic" Civicom Camp which brings one back to the early times... More

When travelling to South Sudan you should not expect luxury. Oasis Camp is situated on the Nile and has a nice peaceful view over the river. The accomodation is not fancy but when I am in Juba all I need is a shower and a decent bed, which Oasis has. What makes Oasis exceptional is the management staff who are... More

Hi Row1000 I'm happy to hear you enjoyed our hospitality. We do our best to ensure we're much more than just another hotel in Juba. The vast majority of our guests live at Oasis permanently, so customer service is critical to our operations. It'd be our pleasure to host you again, and we look forward to doing so. Cheers A More

The food is excellent for catering. My office orders from Oasis all the time. But they don't deliver - we pick it up. The food is always piping hot and ready to eat. The meat samosas/sambusas are AMAZING and so is the fruit cake.

I have been at the Oasis Camp in Juba in November 2011. The Containers are simple, but functional. The Camp is nice located at the banks ofthe river nile. I ejoyed the evenings at the bar at the river. There have been russian pilots at the camp, but they have not been noisy (as mentioned in a previous post). But... More

The rooms are semi-detached metal cabins which feel like being in a microwave until you switch on the air-conditioning. They are musty and smelly with mould on the curtains and the shower room smelt disgusting. There is occasional hot water provided by solar panels and there is 24 hour electricity provided by a generator. The hotel is situated by a... More

Thank you for your review- we appreciate your feedback. We're sorry to hear your stay was not up to scratch, and pleased to announce major upgrades to all our cabins since then. We have tiled almost all rooms and converted most to concrete. All rooms have had a major facelift and our facilities expanded significantly. With an injection of management... More

I lived at Oasis Camp for six months. In general, the experience wasn't bad. I was lucky enough to live in one of the concrete houses they have, as opposed to the containers the vast majority of people stay in. Those are small and pretty noisy, especially if you ended up next to drunken Russian pilots as a colleague of... More

I have just got back from a five night visit to Juba and through sourcing accommodation on the Internet and reading reviews opted to stay at Oasis Camp on the banks of the Nile. There is not really that much to do in Juba but my holiday was made wonderful by the excellence of the resort. All meals, with a... More

Friendly, helpful and competent management. Wonderful atmosphere on chairs or lounge sofas above the Nile river. Good food. Own bakery. Small supermarket. Accomodation is in containers, like in many other hotels in Juba. Clientele is mostly Central and Eastern European. If you prefer to stay downtown, the Grand Dame hotel in Juba is the Equatoria.
