Pleased we chose the Frasers Guest House to stay in, cosy and off the beaten track but in the centre of Battlesbridge Antiques Centre. Lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. We slept in Cedar, a little small but everything we needed. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Friendly stay at the end of the 2nd leg of our cycling journey from Dover to Lowestoft. Large display of antiques and curios (unfortunately cycling prohibited us buying any!). Well appointed front twin room and exceelent meal in adjacent pub.

We were so pleased with Frasers! Shelagh who greeted us was lovely and friendly and gave us a tour of the guest house. We stayed in stable 1, which was fantastic. Such a lovely room. The whole place had lots of character, the surrounding area with its antiques and craft shops was great. We only stayed 1 night but would... More

Arrived over the bank holiday. Greeted by a lovely old woman named shelagh who then showed us the grounds and room we are staying in, all Perfect and with lots of character. It's situated in the middle of an an antiques village which was great to wonder round. (open all the time I guess, as it was the bank holiday)... More

I stayed in one of the converted stables and found the room to be clean and comfortable. The service at Frasers was great and I was made to feel very welcome. The cooked beakfast served was good although the fruit didn't appear to be very fresh on the morning I was there. I completely understand that it would be an... More

I was on business and I required a last minute place to stay and Frasers was a superb choice. Got a lovely homely feeling and the owners were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and warm. The breakfast was included and very pleasant. I would not hesitate to return back.

My partner and I stayed over night as we were going to a wedding in the area. The rooms were clean, well presented and comfortable. We stayed in the Oak Room, which was small in size but very comfortable and perfect for what we needed. They provided a good stack of clean towels, tea and coffee making facilities and the... More

What a scary experience. Perhaps the owner would benefit from an Anger Management course as well as Customer Service one. Booked a room for £75 yesterday (Sat 21 Sep 2013) for 1 night including breakfast. We were put in Stables 1 (or 2 - forget now) which was very small. Within a couple of minutes we could hear a lady... More

There was going to be no winner with this one! Our converted stable rooms are a very popular addition to our guesthouse and are specifically requested by returning guests being of a more contemporary style, with excellent facilities and a secluded outside patio area. I am very approachable and always willing to try to resolve any problems where possible. However,... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was top class. Recommend it above local hotels and also will be using it for any of our visits to the UK. Great location with two local eating places within walking distance. Friendly, efficient and well staffed. Easy access to main routes but nicely relaxing and rural.
