Stopped in Potes on our way to a weeks mountain hut to hut walking and this was an easy first night with about 2 1/2 drive from Bilbao airport. Hotel was easy to find on the main road. Not a lot of English spoken but par for the course in this area and managed to get by. Rooms quite modern... More

I stayed here for one night as part of a motorcycle trip around Northern Spain and the Pyrenees. The English speaking receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was modern, spacious, clean, tidy and had a good WiFi connection. No aircon, but that wasn't a problem. They had a free private car park at the back. Breakfast was fine with... More

I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Valdecoro in early/mid-May. The Valdecoro has potential, but falls well short of expectation. I do not consider a room that looks directly out at another hotel to be a room with a view. When I protested, I was given a room from with a broken bathroom shelf, leaving me with insufficient counter space... More

This was my second stay at this hotel with TheUntravelledWorld.com and this time I stayed for two nights, rather than one. I was still very satisfied. The price was good, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was perfectly fine (although not luxurious). For me, it hit the spot perfectly. Why doesn't everyone like it? I'm not... More

Stayed here one night but didn't want to stay longer. The hotel has had money put into it, the rooms look good & fairly modern, & it's clean & tidy, but: - the emergency lighting in the rooms is really bright & kept us awake - the curtains are too small which again stops you making the room properly dark... Friendly staff. Clean rooms and a good breakfast. Beautiful surroundings. Stayed with friends for a night and wished we had booked for longer. Some very good restaurants nearby as well.local shops sold some great jams, honey and various types of Orujo so I stocked up.

Arrived after a long motorcycle trip tired and hot. The hotel we found to be of a very good standard for the price we paid for our 2 night stop. The room was very spacious with a nice comfy bed and good well equipped bathroom and both very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room 109 was a... More

I found this hotel to be pretty perfect. The location is just right being easy walking distance to the historic centre. The value both for rooms and extras like drinks and food is terrific. It is very modern, very stylish and very comfortable both in bedrooms and public areas. It is carpeted throughout but not in the bedrooms. I cannot... More

The room has some problems such as: hair dryer weak, the bathroom let out much water, we could not close the window. We woke up early due to light entering the room and also because of the noises of the street. The worst thing is that the hotel / room has no air conditioning and heating on the room is... More

Location, parking, rooms, wifi, breakfast, value for money all great. However, the most important aspect of any hotel stay is sleep and I'm writing this review and 4:11am as I haven't had any. Unfortunately, the hotel is one big echo chamber and there are no carpets so you hear everything, anywhere in the hotel. People walking, doors opening, toilet cisterns... More
