I did the 5 day walking trip with Wilson's. It is pricey, and you might wonder if it is worth the price. The track is really easy and doesn't require a guide. We are delighted that you enjoyed the location of Meadowbank Homestead – Awaroa. It was first described as the “finest site in the bay” back in 1884 when the Wilsons family’s ancestors built the original homestead on that site.
