This is the perfect location for your visit to Abel Tasman Park which is a short drive down the ridge. The panoramic views from the hilltop and cottage porch are gorgeous from sunrise to sunset. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and equipped with a full kitchen, washing machine, and wifi. Sue and Jim went out of their way to help... More

The four of us, two couples, stayed here for three nights on a recent trip to New Zealand. The views were absolutely breathtaking, but the husband and wife duo was beyond our expectations. we did not have a car, and they did not even hesitate to drive us. every morning we woke up to the smell of fresh baked bread.... When you're travelling through NZ, this is exactly what you're looking for: stay at this cozy cottage with the stunning views and the most friendly and generous hosts! The cottage has EVERYTHING YOU NEED (even a washing machine!) and it feels like HOME. Jim and Sue are the nicest people. They invited our boys to play with their grandchildren in... More

Thank you very much for your comments....it is pleasing to know that the Cottage does work well for Mum,Dad and two children! One of our aims is to make the place 'homely' for all who stay here and, having raised four children, we really enjoy families staying in the House or Cottage. There are various toys, games, etc inside and outside around the... More

We stayed in the Cottages for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was fully equipped, clean and comfortable. Wifi was excellent. The hosts were a standout. Jim and Sue have thought of everything. The cottage is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by bird-attracting plants and the views from the verandah are simply stunning. The cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable and cosy. It was so relaxing sitting on the verandah, listening to the birds and admiring the scenery. Jim and Sue also offered... More

Your generous remarks are very much appreciated and will help encourage us to try and make the Cottage and the rest of the property even more inspiring and restful. Planting certain species of trees have greatly increased the number of native birds attracted to flying around the ridge that we live on. Thank you and be assured that you would... More

We stayed at Fraser Highlands for the first 3 days of our honeymoon. Sue and Jim were wonderful hosts - we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning, and they provided several helpful tips for places to eat and where to hike (Harwoods Hole is a must see!). Our accommodations were very comfortable, and we loved driving around to the local... More

Really pleased that our place worked for you as a Honeymoon Couple and that you found some unique attractions like Harwoods Hole set in the midst of native bush and outcrops of fascinating limestone cliffs and 'sink holes' ! We much appreciate your generous remarks and wish you only the best for your future together. More

Far and away my favorite spot in New Zealand out of 24 days and 13 lodgings. We chose to stay in the cottage on the hill overlooking the main house and with a fabulous view of the Tasman Bay. The cottage was cozy and had everything we could want, but my favorite spot was relaxing on the wrap-around porch and... More

Really glad that Cameron's cottage worked well for you as a 'Retreat' at the end of a busy day ....the verandah has proven to be a popular place to simply sit down on a chair and look over the Bay as a way to completely relax. We too would like an opportunity to get to know many of our guests... More

This was our first time to Abel Tasman and we struck gold with Fraser Highlands. We had the Glencross room upstairs, which had great views, a big, comfortable bed and a good sized en suite bathroom. It was very spacious and clean. Friends of ours were also staying - in the cottage - and that was fun as we could... More

Really appreciated for Sue & Jim's great hospitality. 8 of us never forget this place with spectacular views of Abel Tasman. Enjoyed fantastic sunset, sunrise & night sky. Everything is fine with details and well-equipped facilities. It is the best place I stayed in New Zealand. Eager to stay with Sue & Jim, their lovely dog Heather again.
