Recommended by the tourist people at Malton library, this proved to be an excellent overnight base. The village is quiet and peaceful, but handy for Malton, and has an excellent Chinese restaurant within the local pub. Suzie, the b&b owner, recommended we ate there and it was extremely good. Our en-suite twin room was quite spacious with fresh milk provided... More

I came in August 2013 at pretty short notice, which was no inconvenience for Suzie. Quite easy to find, and nearby Malton Amotherby is a really peaceful setting. The house itself had two rooms for traveller's, which had an excellent, fast, hot shower. The bed's were very comfy, and opened out onto a back patio with a divider down the... More

Book last minute for 1 nights stay. Arrive late but was no hassle to Suzie. Very welcoming, warm and chatty. Room was great, twin room, lovely selection of drinks from Tea, coffee, to Latte or Hot Choc. Breakfast was tasty, full English, well worth the extra cals. Would stay again if in area. Thanks.

Stayed a couple of nights here over a Bank Holiday weekend. Located in a quiet cul de sac with parking on driveway. Room was ok - storage for clothes etc. was a bit limited though fine for a short stay. Adjacent bathroom with shower was fine. Everywhere very clean. Good English breakfast. Owner provided me with key and no problem... More

Had a lovely stay at the Cherry Tree B&B. Susie was a great hostess, and nothing was too much trouble! Great room and fantastic breakfast...at a time to suit us which was ideal after a late night the evening before! Would definitely stay again!

We had an overnight stop here and it was just a lovely quiet stopover point. Suzie was very welcoming and friendly. She made us feel quite at home. Our room was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable, our room overlooked the back garden with a lovely show of flowers.

We were made to feel very welcome at this B&B. The room was spacious with your own patio, TV and one adjustamatic bed. The owner, Susie was very helpful, she recommended a nearby Cantonese restaurant which was really good and she also gave us directions to Flamingo Land the following day, drawing us a little map. Breakfast was fantastic.

We received a warm welcome from our charming host, Suzie. The room was delightful with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The locality is just outside Malton and handy for Castle Howard. It's a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of many tourist traps. The breakfast was lovely. We were sorry that our stay was a... More

Had a wonderful two night stop at this B&B- Suzie's food was fabulous, and we had a very relaxing stay. Great location near heritage sites, handy for York without the noise! Thank You!
