We spent just one night here but were overwhelmed by the genuine warmth of the staff. The food was excellent and the full English breakfast both large and tasty. The room was basic but spotlessly clean. A few more coffee sachets would have been welcome but tea, milk, soap and fluffy towels were provided in abundance. The menu was extensive... More

First thing I would say that this is neither really a pub or hotel and it is really, or tries to be a restaurant but it isn't big enough. Check in time was 5pm but I did arrive early, around 14:30pm so I thought I would let them know I had arrived and very kindly they allowed me to check... More

Popped in for lunch last Sunday. As it was a bit late I wasn't sure if they were still serving but fortunately they were. Nice pub, a warm welcome from the staff and pretty decent food. Seemed to have a nice atmosphere about the place. Would definitely go back if in the area.

We visited on 5th March as a group of friends. Unfortunately one of our meals was missed by the kitchen, so was a little delayed, a free drink was offered by way of apology but was later charged on the bill..... All our food was good, lovely fresh vegetables, and generous portions. A couple of our group had desserts and... More

When did the AA last call at this establishment?? This is NOT a four star accomodation. It is a PUB with rooms over. The only friendly thing I can say, is that the Breakfast was excellent, served hot, and I mean hot. Great. The accomodation is 1950 retro. Sadly, our room was over the pub entrance door and each time... More

Stopped for lunch on the way back from Go Ape at Dalby Forest and only got into the Wentworth Arms at 205pm, even though they stopped serving food at 200pm the staff and kitchen were really accommodating and made all 4 of us a sandwich. Really nice sandwiches. Cosy and comfortable.

After not being able to get a table anywhere we stumbled across this gem of a place. Really welcoming staff and top quality, home cooked, tasty food. Great value too. Will be back to try more great dishes.

I went for a meal at the Wentworth Arms with family and a family friend. I must say that things have improved for the better, since i was last there for a meal. The staff seem more efficent and better trained. Didn't have any trouble with service or the bill! The fish and chips and mushy peas i had were... More

A warm welcome from Miles and Helen who run the pub on our arrival. We stayed for 1 night after going to the Castle Howard proms. The Wentworth Arms is a really cosy little pub. Our rooms were en-suite and were clean, nicely decorated with a lovely comfy bed, tea and coffee and good quaity tv. We had lunch before... More
