A friend and I stayed here earlier in the year on business and therefore had no hesitation in staying here again on a return business trip. Lovely comfortable rooms are offered with a fridge and tea making facilities, and a hearty breakfast in the morning at a very good price. Some rooms have a shared bathroom and some have en-suite.... Now I know that HP means Howard and Pat, the capable and friendly hosts! The room was perfectly clean, with extra features such as lamps, clock, electric kettle and tea, fridg for groceries, Microwave to cook own meals, even plates and cutlery, soap and tissues! Breakfast - you order whatever you want, and that's what you get, skilfully cooked and... More

Good BnB with comfy beds, good sized rooms and excellent service. Good wifi, very clean and a good ensuite bathroom. Handily located for the wedding we attended and had a great nights sleep afterwards!

Clean tidy room. Fridge and microwave a bonus. Good wifi speed breakfast is well cooked and nice. Location ideal for motorways to go north or south. nice hosts who make the stay that little bit nicer. Felt safe as a solo female traveller

Stayed at this lovely B & B for two nights. The owners were both very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a very good size and extremely well equipped with a fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery in case you were wanting to eat in the evenings. There was plenty of storage space - both hanging and in drawers. Additionally there... More

What an unusual little B&B so glad we had sat nav as would never have found it as its in the corner of a cul de sac... but so handy for the wedding we went to at the local barn. When you arrive you will feel totally relaxed, almost like going to family or friends for the night. The owners... More

What can I say??? We certainly dropped on with this little gem! We booked to stay here as a stop off on a charity walk from Birmingham to Manchester. When we arrived we were 3 days in to the walk...and I'd hit a wall. My muscles and feet were shot and I was on the verge of giving up. The... More

I stayed overnight at the HP Bed and Breakfast with friends at the weekend. We were going to a wedding reception at the Sandhole Oak Barn. We found it to be an excellent stay, with friendly, welcoming owners and a comfortable, well-equipped room. It was only a short taxi ride to the Barn and we had a comfortable and quiet... More

I would recommend this B and B for an overnight stop in Congleton. The owners are very welcoming and the accommodation is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Unfortunately, I too got the uncomfortable bed, but the addition of a topper would quickly sort out this problem. The breakfast was generous and very tasty and the price was very fair.
