We tried the Queens Head for our evening meal as we go to puppy training class in Mossley after work. We were recommended the steak and potato pie by a chap sat next to us so went with his recommendation. We really enjoyed it - a proper homemade pie (top and bottom) with real thick cut chips and roasted vegetables... More

We are regular visitors to Congleton with family in the area. We've struggle to find somewhere suitable to stay in the past, our group is four adults and two teenagers. This place is perfect though! Three double bedrooms, all ensuite, all with additional single pop up beds if required. Nicely decorated, and showers were of a very high quality. Rooms... More

I stayed at the queen's head for one night while attending a wedding in the area. The location is very convenient for the train station. Rooms very nice - modern, clean, good size, with great bathrooms. Staff were very helpful. Overall a great experience.

We had the whole of the cottage to ourselves, 6 adults and one 13 year old. The people in the pub who also handle the b & b could n t do enough for us, really friendly and extremely helpful. The only thing we would offer as a suggestion would be a small hob or similar so we could cook... More

Did not stay overnight, but had lunch. Quick service although it was very busy, nice food and beer. Excellent outdoor area, perfect for kids (although we did not bring any!). People in the pub are very friendly, nice athmosphere.

Called in for a swift half whilst waiting for the train. A wide range of ales offered and the real ales tried were well kept. Decided to stay for dinner and opted for the fish and chips. Wonderful (hand cut?) chunky chips and the beer battered fish was a delight. Very close to the station so a leisurely stroll to... More

This B&B is very comfortable but it best asset it the pub next door with friendly people, great beer and great food. A previous review about the owner is completely wrong, he's a nice friendly feller and the women who runs the pub and the b&b is great too.

We are on a canal holiday so this pub was very handy. Very clean, friendly with nice homely English food which was very tasty and very reasonable. Would definitely go back.

Me and my wife recently stayed here for a wedding. What a mistake, the room was a mess,it smelled vile.We went and had something to eat in the bar and the food was cold, tasteless and bland. The beer was quite good, but what really spoiled our evening in the pub was a very large bald man who was extremely rude and kept staring at...
