My husband, 4yr old daughter and myself stayed in hotel on Sat night for my birthday. Arrived early, midday as the weather was bad. We were shown straight to our amazing room, view across the water was spectacular, there was even a telescope provided in room. The room itself was tastefully decorated and had a lot of character, it was... More

This is such a beautiful area and not too far from Glasgow or Edinburgh. It is a place to walk and suit and relax. We also saw people having wonderful wedding photographs taken with the loch as backdrop. Food is pretty good- not a la carte but very good value

So very happy to have come across this gem of a hotel. We happened upon the hotel when we were searching for a couple of nights away for Hogmanay. We were not disappointed. Fabulous food, great staff, wonderful ambience and great fun on the big night. We travel with four dogs who sleep in their tour van but we were... More

This is the 5th time we have stayed in this hotel. The standard of service is constantly high in all areas.. We have stayed in the main house and in the cedar wing,we actually slightly prefer the Cedar wing as the panoramic windows allow you to enjoy the fabulous view . The rooms are spotless and very well appointed. The... More

Outstanding sea food! Better than anything you get in London. Lovely little place. Staff are really friendly. Would recommend if your in the area eating here is a must! The oysters are to die for! The whole area is idyllic. I may even eat here again before I go home.

We chose this privately owned and run hotel for an overnight stay en route north because it was pet friendly and its reputation for good food. We were not disappointed. Located just 100 yards off the main A82 it is located among some of Scotland's best scenery with loch and islands in abundance. Highland cattle in the nearby fields also... More

Attended a friend's wedding here and also stayed the night. Absolutely breath-taking views from the bar, terrace and our bedroom (which had a balcony from which to enjoy them). Beautiful venue for a wedding. My friends were able to marry outside overlooking the loch as the weather was fine, but had it not been the room they would have used... More

The hotel and its rooms are a little dated and in need of upgrading. However the location is simply stunning. Similarly the staff made our stay incredibly good. The food is to die for! Would definitely go back. Would like to see dog friendly eating room in hotel itself.

We recently stayed for 2 nights which was part of a deal including continental breakfast and a 2 course meal on one of the nights. The hotel was really nice, the lounge in particular with the real fire was very cosy to sit in at night. Our room was one of the Cedar rooms, I had asked for a non-dog... More
