Enjoyed my trip very much, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room we had was comfortable and clean with twin beds, tv ,armchairs ,tea and coffee making facilities. Towels were changed each day and there was plenty of very hot water . The food was excellent especially the kippers for breakfast (optional) ,The entertainment on the evening was... More

This hotel is owned and operated by Highland Heritage Tours and I shall therefore include my views on the overall operation. My wife and I visited for a 5 day/4 night tour billed as The Best of Scotland. We boarded a "feeder" bus at Newcastle upon Tyne and, unfortunately were the last to board. This meant that the only 2... More

This was our third tour with Highland Heritage and our last. Travelled on Sunday 10th Aug. very disappointed with trips seemed to spend more time on the bus, even more time at places which didn't warrant lengthy visits. Especially being ripped off at Lomond shores (Especially Gateway ) The driver Stuart was excellent as were the eastern European staff in... More

I went on a package holiday with Highland Heritage and stayed at the Dalmally Hotel which is run by Highland Heritage. it is a bit out of the way so going on excursions, mostly part of the package is a must. The driver John kept us amused but I wish he put BBC 2 in the bin.His own CDs being... More

I stayed here 3rd to 10thAug on The very best of Scotland tour. I found the excursions very good value. The wit and knowledge of our driver John made the long drives more enjoyable. The hotel itself is very dated and looking tired. Meals were rushed with limited choices. I sat near two vegetarians and as there was not a... More

The outside appearance of the Dalmally Hotel is very pleasant. Our cases were taken up to our room by a member of staff.. The room was spacious, clean and fresh but decor very dated. Sheets polyester mix and not ironed the synthetic pillows compressed and uncomfortable, the mattress only just acceptable. The dining hall was like being back at school,... More

This was the first and last time I will holiday with HH - back to LOCHS AND GLENS, a much superior tour company for the next Scottish break. Lovely hotel exterior but that's where it stops. Dalmally hotel is tired and dated, corridor and stair carpets are dirty and stained, bed linen old, thin, un-ironed and creased ( divan trim... More

Fully agree with Nottingham5. We were firstly offered room 88, which was so dark we had to put the light on to see anything, bathroom was a cupboard with sink in the bedroom. Saw the Manageress to change our room, but were told that the hotel was full and no room was available, after a lot of verbal abusefrom her,... More

Having visited The Dalmally Hotel with Highland Heritage for 7 days from 10 July I fully agree with most of the comments of ‘Nottingham5’ & ‘Gerald P’. The whole experience appeared to be a rush from beginning to end. On our arrival we were rushed into the evening meal within 45mins. No time to relax or change. The same applied... More
