We stayed for one night on 30th July and wish we had been able to stay for longer. We were made to feel very welcome indeed. Good food, great hosts, beautiful room and immaculately clean and well presented room. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at GlenOrchy Lodge again.

We only ate here as we wer staying locally. We found this hotel when looking for a meal out on a Saturday evening after a wet drive over from Loch Lomond. Quite a find. We ate very well, simple food (fried fish and chips, sausage and mash, curry) cooked with real care and attention. The owner Mac was genial and... More

Stayed here for one night. We arrived too late for an evening meal unfortunately, but the hotel was great. We were met personally by the owners (Sally and Mac), who made us feel very welcome. Our family room was large, clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for us and our two kids. Would certainly reccommend this place.

We landed the GlenOrchy lodge on a Sunday noon quite at random. The bar, it turned out, had much more to give than we would have expected: the food was really good (with a special mention for the haggis parcels), the service compensated lack of experience with special care and with attention to detail. Strongly recommended !

From the outside this hotel looks good and with sign saying bar meals this was just what we were looking for. On entering the public bar which was empty of both staff and customers I stood for quite sometime waiting to be served. Wandering through the hotel to find ' anybody ' the interior looked very nice and well preserved.... More

I am disappointed that the reviewer went away with the wrong impression of the service provided by this hotel. The public bar does open at 5pm and food is available from 5.30pm onwards. At the time the reviewer visited, I was showing newly arrived residents to their room and was therefor away from the bar, hence the voices upstairs. I... More

We didn't stay here but called in on the hop for evening meal. What a find! We were met with a very warm and hospitable welcome and enjoyed a splendid meal. Check out the little morsels of "haggis parcels"! We learned all of the food is carefully prepared, fresh on-site and can heartily recommend dining there.

Attracted by the sign outside advertising bar meals we called in for something quick and cheap to break our journey. My request for the bar meal menu met with some confusion and it turned out they were not doing bar meals that evening. However we decided to stay and were not disappointed. High quality food, served at a reasonable price,... More

We stayed for one nights stay at the Glenorchy lodge hotel, and have to say it was superb! The hotel is spotless, owners were extremely welcoming and the food is outstanding!!! All the food is made fresh. Even the sweets!!! Delicious!! I would highly recommend this hotel, with it's lovely appointed rooms ( family friendly) which sits among some of... More

We didn't stay here, but ate at the restaurant. Wow. My wife and I were there with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law on vacation, and all of us were blown away by the quality of the food, the presentation and the taste. We spent much more than we expected to spend because we had to keep trying new things. I have... More

We didnt actually stay here as this was for our seventh wedding anniversary so we went to the restaurant instead. We came here for lunch to begin with and the staff were amazing. I had already booked a table for the evening and when we got here, we were shown to a table window. I had lamb I think it... More
