We only spent one night at Glenmore B&B but will definitely return. Alisdair and Melissa were excellent hosts and their family home is in a stunning setting. We arrived quite late in February to a lovely drawing room with an open fire and a glass of wine. Our bedroom looked down to the Loch and had large period twin beds... More

We were two weary, wrinkly girlfriends on a jaunt without our husbands, who stayed one night at each end of our holiday in Scotland. We were treated like honoured guests in a private house, welcomed with a glass of wine on arrival and invited to sit down and chat in the huge, elegant drawing room, where the wifi was free.... More

We spent 3 nights at Glenmore B&B and absolutely loved it, we're a family of 4 with 2 girls (6 and 4 year old). Melissa was so accommodating when we booked, even though we booked late and the B&B was almost full. For the first 2 nights we were in the yellow room and then we were moved into the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenmore B and B. From the moment you approach this grand, stately home, you know that you will have a special experience. Alisdair and Melissa are warm, gracious and attentive hosts. We stayed in the New Wing suite. The suite itself has a very large bedroom overlooking the beautiful Scottish countryside. There is also... More

We stayed for one night recently in this lovely old manor house. If you like your old style country houses, this one is for you. On arrival we were welcomed with the offer of a glass of wine outside on the terrace. We had a nice chat with the owners, who are very welcoming, as are the children and the... More

We had a truly great time in this B&B. The views from the house are absolutely stunning (and views of the house as well, beautiful building!!) the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. We had rooms in the "new wing" (also more than 40 years old) with stunning views on the lake. The kids had a great time playing with... More

We arrived after a long drive and were shown into a lovely sitting room by Melissa. The log fire was lit and we were offered a drink and time to relax. When we were ready we were shown to a charming double bedroom overlooking the loch. Melissa and Alisdair were extremely helpful even assisting with directions for the next day.... More

We arrived for a one night stay at Glenmore Lodge Country House B&B, a stones throw from the village and inviting, friendly pub. A party of 3, we were shown to the West Wing Suite, we had a beautiful room facing onto Loch Melfort. The beds in both the single and double were extremely comfortable and assured us all an... More

We recently passed through Argyll on holiday, and stopped by chance at Glenmore Country House BB. We were delighted by what we found; a relaxed and charming old country house, with friendly owners Melissa and Alasdair on hand to help out with every request.
