We had an amazing stay here. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every desire. We stayed in a suite that was HUGE and even had our own beautiful veranda and full size hot tub. We loved taking in the private island and walking around to explore it. The food in the restaurant was great and some of... more

I'm glad I didn't read some of the reviews presented here before we made our visit to Isle of Eriska because I would have been leary about visiting. We have just returned from Scotland and were thrilled to have stayed there for four days. It felt like we had been invited to the best party at someone’s country house. The... more

We stayed in the Hotel for two nights in September of this year. As it is somewhere we had been considering staying for a long time we were really looking forward to our stay. Overall our stay was enjoyable. Our room - Mull - was very nice and well furnished with a very comfortable bed. Food was good in the... more

First the good.our room at the front of the hotel was lovely,a suite rather than a deluxe room,as it had a huge bedroom with sitting area, large full bathroom, and a dressing room, though unsuitable for those with mobility problems as it is at the top of some steep stairs. The island itself is magical, we had a very enjoyable afternoon... more

This hotel is in a beautiful if isolated location. There is plenty to do with its gold course, clay shooting etc. The inside is beautifully kept and very modern in its decor; none of the decayed elegance often associated with Scottish country house hotels. The staff are friendly, professional and the housekeeping is impeccable. The food lets it down. Afternoon... more

The Isle of Eriska - once you find it - is lovely. It's definitely an "escape from it all": The approach road to Eriska is long and narrow and just when you think you might have arrived, the hotel's driveway is a mile long and even narrower! Well worth the drive, though. The hotel itself is a lovely old building.... more

Booked Eriska on the back of recommendations from TripAdvisor as we were celebrating 50th Wedding Anniversary for my parents. The location and food were highlights, although the choice at dinner is quite limited. The public rooms are lovely and the bedrooms are very spacious - old fashioned furnishings but the bathrooms were very spacious which is rare these days. The... more

Although we had been strongly recommended this hotel by a number of people, we did not intend to stay there during our tour of Scotland as it was a little out of our budget, but ended up there for 2 nights because we couldn't find anywhere else on a busy bank holiday weekend! For us, this place is simply in... more

Winding road to get there but worth the trip. Staff are very friendly, and helpful. Food at dinner is exquisite. Wine selection good and resonable priced. Spa treatments good, though products over priced. Only complaint would be food at breakfast...think it is the chef's time off? Kippers dry and over salted, smoked haddock the same the next day, grapefruit dried... more

Travelling to Eriska is in itself an adventure - increasingly winding narrow roads lead to a clattery wooden bridge over the water to a luxuriously understated private island. The dining is informal and food outstanding. The staff however are in a totally different league to any I have met before elsewhere - discreet, effortlessly polite, naturally cheerful, and attentive without... more
