Visited the restaurant for a leaving do last night. I asked for just a bowl of salad as on a strict diet. The salad has cucumber, onion, tomato, 2 strands of beetroot and lettuce in it. I had specifically asked for no dressing and a wedge of lemon. The salad that came was of average size and just what I... More

We booked into the Coastal Park Hotel in Llanelli as an alternative to a place in Swansea, which were either fully booked, too expensive, or too busy. Coastal Park is a very comfortable hotel, very quiet, and within handy reach of the beach and coastal path (5 minutes walk), Swansea (15 minutes drive) and the Gower (25 minutes drive). What's... The Hotel still needs more updating,a few things let it down the exterior,ie tables etc were in poor condition, the room we stayed in was basic but everything you needed was there it was just the decor needed retouching(skirting boards etc),the food was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly, overall an enjoyable stay.

Slept okay but breakfast was extremely disappointing. The bacon, eggs and sausages were identical to the catering grade fare offered to patients by my local NHS hospital and were of very poor quality. Instant rather than filter coffee is offered. The business model clearly relies on passing trade rather than enticing customers to return. Would not dream of staying again.

We stayed for two nights and slept really well :) which for us was very welcome as we had been camping for a couple of nights! Breakfast was good and filling, the room was clean as was the whole hotel. The hotel is in a good area to walk into town, to the sea front and to the park, we... More

I booked two rooms at the Coastal Park, for a one night visit to see relatives. We arrived at 5pm, and a very nice lady showed au to our rooms. My wife and I shared room 1, which has a jacuzzi. My sister, who had a single room, was very envious. The room came with tea and coffee making fascilities,... More

I agree with the reviewer who thought this was a guest house trying to be a hotel. We only stayed one night (a Sunday) and the restaurant was closed. We got back from a meal out at about 10pm and the whole place was in darkness. That isn't a particular problem, but as it was February the room was cold... More

Good standard accommodation for the price of this hotel, clean rooms and modern shower/bathroom facilities, let down by poor Wi-Fi which I asked for on several occasions as I was away on semi-business occasion, as well as leisure. Rooms are close together and walls are thin but given there was a busy restaurant downstairs, the overall experience was peaceful enough.... More

I stayed here for one night in a double room, on first impressions I was expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the interior and cosy feel to the hotel. The room was a little small for a Double but it had: flat screen TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facility. Ensuite was of a reasonable size although the... More

DO not use room 11 of the hotel, totally ruined the stay. Can not fault the smiles of the staff..But was put in a room with faulty shower. They knew dam well that the shower was broken. I was unable to shower due the rain shower...the nozzle must have been pulled out by a frustrated guest prior to our stay.... More
