...where a weekend of relaxation makes you feel as tranquil and refreshed as a week long holiday! We travelled to Tammisaari at not the most charming time in the Finnish seasons, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We stayed at the adorable 'Parkview' apartment, which offers a view both to the old town of Tammisaari and... More

The guesthouse is part of the original Fagers property, some of which dates back to 1770. We stayed in the garden lodge (only 1890s!) and could see pictures of the original family playing in the rooms we were sitting in. Lovely and cosey, the fireplace kept the house warm for about 3 days! And the town history started right on... More

We visited Fager's for five wonderful days, and we were so happy with our choice of accomodation in Ekenäs, Finland. The houses are all very clean, cute and well equipped. They might be lacking a bit in the finish, but that's what makes it all so charming! The hostess and host, Outi and Robert, which speaks fluent english as Robert... More

Stayed in this charming 1775 Gustavian apartment and had a superb two nights ashore. The atmosphere was like being in a luxury Swedish Manor house with accompanying garden courtyard, and only 50m from the main market place. No TV in this apartment so had to have fun at night in the old fashioned way :-))

I stayed in Fagers for a course, during which all the guesthouse was reserved for participants. This is perhaps the most central location you can have in Tammisaari, and a great way to experience how living in a historical wooden town would feel like. I was accommodated in the little red "Garden cottage" with three colleagues. Facing to the garden,... More

We stayed in the 1775 "Gustavian"; a beautifully maintained timberframed townhouse dating back to the era of Swedish rule in Finland. Robert and Outi, the owners, are doing an incredible job of carefully and patiently restoring and renovating a large complex in the centre of Tammisaari. The apartment itself is beautiful, quiet and full of history around an hours trip... More

We stayed at the "1775 Gustavian" and what a wonderful place this turned out to be. Entering the main rooms one can't help but be amazed. This beautiful historical house has a view to the old church yard. The whole place has been renovated with care to bring out the original features such as the wide planked wooden floors and... More

We went to a birthday party, where the whole Gasthus was reserved for our entourage. I had heard hints before, but the place smacked me by surprise. Not only is the place oozing with history (couple of hundred years worth). It also cherishes the history and architecture without being too flash about it and at the same time offering all... More

This newly renovated hotel/guest house is a perfect combination of old world charm and modern comfort. Outi & Rob are passionate hosts and were very helpful to the ever evolving needs of guests with children. We hope to return one day soon.
