This is a great area of Italy, less than two hour's drive from Rome, but a world apart. Pescoconstanzo is a charming mountain town near the national parks. Very personal little hotel, friendly and helpful staff. After dropping in without reservation we were welcomed with a café. The rooms have nice views over the city and landscape, ok price.
