Had a relaxing overnight stay at the Grinkle Park Hotel whilst touring the North Yorks moors and coast visited Whitby which is within easy reach of the hotel. The drive to the Hotel was across open moorland and very relaxing(apart from the hoards of motor cycles and scooters). The driveway off the road was through well tended gardens and at... More

Arrived expectantly as always for another couple of days away at Grinkle Park but was wonderfully surprised when we were upgraded to the bridal suite which is a fantastic room in the centre of the room overlooking the beautiful lawns and gardens to the rear of the hotel. Endlessly fascinated by the antics of the wildlife with whom we share... More

Rooms are excellent and staff could not be more helpful but they have a problem with 1 or 2 rooms caused by noise. Right outside the baysfield room is the compressor for the bar cellar cooling which runs constantly all night and hums loudly and almost vibrates through the windows - any light sleeper will struggle. They need to sort... More

My wife and I stayed during March 14. Had a considerate phone call a few days before to explain that there was a wedding same weekend which was rather thoughtful. Had a lovely room and good weather that weekend added to the enjoyment All the staff could not have been more helpful and anxious to make everything a special event... More

Stayed for a wedding. Lovely setting and very nice rooms. Rooms everything you would require. Breakfast could do with a little more self service choice (Premier Inns far better). Beautiful grounds. May fancy trying afternoon tea sometime.

Our last visit was almost a year to the day. We booked in for lunch and choose the three course offering which was beautifully presented and tasted great - generous servings with efficient, pleasant discrete service. The dining room overlooked the gardens and at the far side of the grassed area we could see the lake. We really enjoyed the... More

Just a quick note to thank all at Grinkle Park for another wonderful stay. We have been before and always have a relaxing stay. On this occassion it was to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and we weren't disappointed. We were given the Ingelby room which was beautiful - with gorgeous views over the lawns. We took advantage of the... More

Stayed here for two nights. We got upgraded to the rhododendron room. Who says Tesco vouchers customers don't get the best treatment! Lovely cosy ambiance, very spacious room, nice bathroom. As ever with hotels far too hot but that seems pandemic everywhere. Breakfast excellent. The evening a la carte menu far too expensive at c£20-30 per head excl drinks for... More
